The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean and spacious and even though I was a solo traveler, I got towels for two people. The breakfast was great and the staff was nice and helpful. The location was great! Would definitely recommend this hotel.

My room was looking at a wall. It was basically between buildings. I would have to stick my head out the window and look up to see how the weather is that day since there is not much natural lighting. On the bright side, when it was 40 degrees outside, the room was not hot even in the hottest hours. There was a constant sound coming during the night, like there was an AC somewhere, or a ventilation, which I was not bothered by that much. I felt strong odors coming from the outside a few times in the morning, too. I am assuming it's the fumes from doing laundry. Despite all of this, this hotel is great, I would definitely stay again next time!

I ended up having to book this hotel last minute through bookings.com (my original choice was not what I expected). The front desk person was very kind and made me feel welcomed. The room and bathroom were great and the bed was comfortable. I did not originally accept the breakfast but tried it my first morning and it was really good. The staff working the breakfast room were very friendly and efficient. The location was great.

Just a small complaint, my windows were frosted and faced an interior light/vent shaft. They could not be opened, but the AC supplied good air and temps. Having said that, there was no street noise.

The location was ideal, being literally metres from Grand Vie metro station with all the main tourist sites within easy walking distance. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. The breakfasts were very, very good and the staff efficient and friendly.

The bedroom was basic with minimal furniture.There was no tea or coffee making facility in the room. The weather during our stay in early May was cold and even though the room thermostat was set to Heat and turned up to maximum, the room temperature never got above 15° Celsius and the bathroom radiator never worked.

I have been hugely impressed with the hotel. The staff are lovely & very polite & helpful. The entrance to the hotel is clean & smells gorgeous! The rooms are basic but very clean & comfortable. We had two single beds & there was plenty of walkaround space. Enough storage for two in the double rooms (not many hangers in the wardobe though). There's a table & two chairs, a bedside table each. There is a TV but every channel is Spanish (obviously, we're in Spain!) but we had other devices we could watch/listen to stuff on so not a problem for us. The bathroom was great! A good size & very clean. The shower was great, even if it did take me 10 minutes to work out. The breakfast buffet is perfect. A great selection of everything - hot, cold, pastries, fruit etc. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, juices! The dining room is spotless & very funky. There's also vending machines which do a great vanilla coffee (plus lots of other hot drinks) for just €1! There's a cold drink & a snack vending machine too, aswell as one with travel plugs etc. Gran Via itself is a massive shock to the system if you're a country lass like me. It is chaotic! The mornings are much quieter than the evenings but even so, very little noise filters into the rooms. I've given 5 stars for location as it is perfect for anyone used to the city & a stones throw to the Metro & every other amenity.

Our window looked out onto Gran Via (shocked that they actually opened fully without any safety lock - something to consider if you have young childten etc).

Τhe hotel is in the best location , right in front of the metro station "gran via"! From there it's easy to go anywhere in the city even by foot, all the sightseeings are at a 15 min walk top! Shops, cafes, and restsurants in your door! We stayed for 6 nights and it was the best choice..value for money! Althought our room faced in gran via it was rather quiet at nights which was very nice! The staff was very polite and helpful and always with a smile! The room was spotless when we arrived, and the cleaned it every single day and towels and sheets were changed every 2 days! Breakfast was wonderful!! A huge buffet with everything we could possibly want !! We will definately stay there next time in Madrid!!

the matress could be a little more soft

The location is super. Center of the city with Metro station 20 meters from Hotel and McDonalds (24/7) in the same building. Comfort room and especially bathroom. The shampoo and shower gel are installed on the wall in the shower, and you don't need to try to put a small bottle of shampoo somewhere when you take a shower (minor problem in many hotels). In my case, the price was cheap for such kind of hotel and room, and this is why I was quite satisfied with my staying.

May be mattress on the bed could be softer. But this is not a big issue.

The hotel was super well located, we were close to the center and most of the tourist attractions we wanted to visit. The breakfast was also delicious, with lots of options.

The air conditioner didn't really work. It looked more like a super weak fan. It didn't work correctly, and we were very uncomfortable with the heat in the room.

Very good breakfast variety Location is great. close to shopping proximity and easy direct travel from airport Although hotel is right on the busy main street, we can't hear any traffic sounds from our room on 1st floor (Rm 122)

our room is right above breakfast floor and we get the smell of bread inside the room in the morning. not a big deal and we didn't complain as it was a nice smell. but would be better if it doesn't happen.

Have been to Madrid before and stayed on Gran Via, with Hotel Madrid 30 Gran Via, so went back. The room was clean, no balcony but window opened out onto the street, and it was quiet. Breakfast was lovely as were the staff. Gran Vis is very central so you can go anywhere from there.

I liked that it was on the main Street in Madrid's "New York's Broadway" Gran Via.

No Pool, No Hot tub, No place to relax on property. I asked for ice machine and I couldn't get any even though they had some avail on the Breakfast floor room. They have room service but was told no ice available?? We moved down the block to get it all for same price.
