Petit Palace Plaza Málaga

We enjoyed our stay, having visited before in 2019. The view of the Cathedral from our bedroom window was stunning at night when all lit up. The hotel is close to shops, bars, restaurants, and many places of interest, all within walking distance, and the seafront and marina are only just over 1 mile away. The breakfast was self service, with plenty of choice - hot and cold, all well cooked and presented. The staff were pleasant, polite, and very helpful. We hope to visit again sometime!

There were not enough coat hangers in the wardrobe, otherwise no complaints!

Breakfast was lacklustre - dry overcooked scrambled eggs every day (no other egg choices) fresh fruit was ok again minimal selection, heaps of pastries (not my idea of breakfast) some salad choices but no dressing. Coffee machine was pretty good. More healthy options like chia pudding/granola/nuts good quality natural yoghurt would be great.

Excellent location. Very comfortable and quiet room. Very good breakfast buffet, well stocked and well maintained.

Despite a guest WiFi icon being displayed on my iPhone/iPad, access to the Internet is a real problem if not non-existent. Nevertheless, helpful Receptionists eventually provided Internet access via a staff-only network. It's a pity, when everything else is so good, the hotel is let down buy a guest WiFi sytem that is not fit for purpose.

This was an incredible Hotel! There were so many things in the room that were so helpful; you can tell a lot of thought went into many of the room's amenities. From the light switches everywhere, the little ledge in the bathroom along the mirror to hold toiletries. It was all great. The shower was also the most incredible experience of my life. The staff were very helpful and fun to interact with. I will absolutely come back to this hotel whenever I return to Malaga.

The hotel is tucked into the middle of old, mostly pedestrian Malaga and so it is easy to stroll day and night. The room was good size. We had a room with a spiral staircase to climb for a great view of the Cathedral. The staff was very friendly.

The fancy shower unit is placed far too high for comfort. The jets pound you in the face and the spray unit is so high that it soaks you, too I had to climb on the toilet to reach the towels. Not a major complaint, just not pleasant. We got very lost on the streets driving around to get to the hotel. We discovered you can't drive up to the hotel, but Google maps kept telling us to drive on pedestrian/restricted paths. I imagine the instructions from the hotel said we needed to use public parking facilities, but I didn't see it. So ask ahead!

We liked the central location, the room including amazing AC, the architecture of the windows / shutters / balcony. Could not believe how quiet it was considering the alleys / streets were buzzing with noise / activity but when windows shut nothing!! The staff were fantastic, organised taxi transfer to airport very early am, a picnic breakfast to take with us and allowed us to store our luggage prior to check-in Would highly recommend and will definitely return!

Great Central location - have stayed a number of times.

Got notified at check-in that although 2 twin rooms booked, allowance was for only 1 breakfast per room, so had to pay an extra 8 breakfasts (4 night stay) . Never happened before and unless I've selected both rooms for single occupancy - a headscratcher. I've got another 2 bookings with similar situations in Dec & April so rechecked bookings, reservation clearly says room for 2 guests, so hopefully it wont be a problem on checkin, when we return

- Location is simply perfect, at the city center walk-only street and yet close enough to the port and the Malagueta beach - Staff is great - Staff went above and beyond to accommodate my need for fast internet for work (got an exclusive MyFi)

- A bit pricy - The ground floor is well decorated and new but it has somehow a strange mold-ish odor. We gave up having breakfast at the hotel because of it.

The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Málaga, and in an old, classy building. The hotel is quite modern and the staff is incredibly nice and attentive, which is much appreciated, always eager to help. The rooms were spic-and-span and quite spacious.

We were given a room bigger than what we booked, which seemed like great news. But then we realized the shower was broken, so we had to be moved to yet another room. On this one, there was a small leak in a pipe right by the entrance, so the carpet was soaked. The staff were able to resolve these quickly and efficiently (props to them!), but it seems like some of the rooms could use some maintenance work.

This was our second visit to this hotel and we are planning a third. The location is perfect, very central but tucked up a quiet side street, so very peaceful at night. The staff are consistently welcoming, friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is a lovely building with character. The buffet breakfast was generous and good quality. The rooms are well equipped and comfortable.
