Exe Casa de los Linajes is a hotel brimming with character. We received a warm welcome from the great receptionist. Although we arrived an hour early, we only had to wait a few minutes before our room was ready. **Room Highlights:** - The fridge was impressively cold—a rare find during this trip, where most fridges only prevented things becoming warm. - There was a good desk and a comfortable seat in the room, making it an ideal space to work. - The shower was very powerful, which was a nice touch. - The balcony added to the charm and provided a pleasant outdoor space. - Breakfast was good

**Minor Issues:** - The bath did not drain properly when taking a shower. - The shower head tended to spin around when the water pressure was high, but the staff assured us they would fix it—I'm confident they would have sorted it out if I'd mentioned it during my stay. - The room lighting was somewhat limited and never quite bright enough.

Friendly welcome, nice lobby and well-equipped rooms, some with views. From the outside, the hotel looks small, but as it is built on a hillside, it has six floors. Some of the rooms (407 for example) have a nice view. Breakfast is served in a large, well-lit room with a terrace and offers everything you would expect from a good continental breakfast. We would definitely book the hotel again and can only recommend staying there.

Although not on a business trip, a work desk in the room would have been beneficial.

The room was spacious and very comfortable. The hotel is well situated and provides private garage parking. Most importantly, all the staff are friendly and very helpful. Luis on reception, deserves a special mention as he is exceptional and helped us recover our passports left in our previous hotel. We can highly recommend this hotel. It provided us with the perfect base for exploring Segovia.

Although the nearby square offers many dining choices, it would have been nice to have the option of dining in the hotel in the evening. The restaurant is only open at breakfast times.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was outstanding. Great to have a secure and safe parking space beneath the hotel The staff were wonderful. very helpful and patient with our lack of Spanish. Most spoke and understood English very well. Provision of water in Reception area was welcome after a long walk in the heat.

Being English, a kettle in the room for a cup of tea would have been perfect plus a bottle of mineral water. Lovely touch of fresh water in Reception seating area but needs to be replenished regularly throughout the day.

Very nice and clean room with plenty of hot water and comfortable bed. Staff is friendly, helpful, and responsive. Breakfast variety is excellent, but the eggs were way over salted two mornings and burnt on another.

The scrambled eggs were properly prepared the first 3 mornings, but then were burnt and tasted that way, followed by two mornings of so much salt that we encountered pockets of salt.

Very quiet and peaceful enviroment, lovely and helpful staff. The room and hotel was very comfortable, there were things that may have improved my stay, a desk in the room for odd working purposes would have been ideal, also room service or restaurant (open kitchen)* to serve lunch or dinner. Another plus would have been a bigger bathroom. Nevertheless, a very positive two day stay.

Great location, good secure parking, very helpful and friendly staff. Very nice toiletries in bathroom. Lovely breakfast with very good quality products and choices.

Please tell residents that the water cartons in the fridge are free, the tap water would not run cold and the weather was very hot.

Bed very comfy and room was spacious with big bathroom and stunning views (We were staying in a double room with terrace) Staff were very helpful.Location was excellent for our short visit of Segovia.Parking was easily accessible from the hotel.

Buffet breakfast could offer more options and we found that the scrambled eggs were tasteless. You have to pay 15 eur for the parking!I believe parking should be included in the price for guests who arrive by car.First time we had to pay for parking while staying in a hotel.You could hear a lot of noise,mostly early morning.It wasn't a big problem for us as we were only staying for 9-10 hours,literally to sleep, but I don't think I'd choose this hotel if I was staying for more than 1-2 nights.

We had a wonderful view from the room! The staff were very friendly. It was a very comfortable hotel with an interesting layout. The reception desk is on 4th floor, which is down a few steps from street level. We were on 5th floor which was only one floor up (lift). Breakfast and other bedrooms were below, facing out over the valley. It is a good location not far from the historical centre and other places of interest. About ten minutes walk from bus from the station. The room was spacious, with comfortable twin beds and a small enclosed balcony. We were very pleased with our choice of hotel for exploring Segovia.

Everything about the hotel was great. Pavements in Segovia are best avoided with wheeled suitcases!!
