Hotel Pantón

I work while traveling (teaching online group classes with video on on Zoom), so my biggest concern is having a) excellent (not only "good") wifi, b) a desk and chair, and c) late checkin and late checkout so I can travel around my work schedule. In this very centrally located hotel with 24-hour reception (I checked in around 11 pm), my cute little room on the 6th floor had first-class wifi with zero hiccups while also being perfectly spotless and boasting brand new furniture, air conditioning, a comfy double bed with fresh bed linen and a spacious wardrobe as well as an equally spotless ensuite bathroom. After finishing my classes and checking out at 12 am without any additional worries or charges, they were also so kind as to let me leave my luggage and work in the breakfast room for a few hours after checkout before my train departed. In addition to that, the older gentleman at the reception was very laid-back and nice. On top of it all, this was an excellent deal for 40€. I'll be happy to return anytime!

The socket below the TV in the breakfast room didn't work when I tried charging my phone there. That was a minor nuisance, though, as I found another one to use.

This hotel is the true definition of value for money! I paid €40/night in a single room including breakfast. I was looking for a place to sleep in the night after long days of meetings. I didn't need something fancy; there was a very comfortable and clean bed, a desk, convenient light in the room, nice toilet, and the breakfast had pastries and cheese, plus cereal, coffees, and juice. Honestly, I couldn't have asked for more.

For this price, I think everything was perfect. I can't ask hotels to be doing more than what Panton offer for this price.

The location was so very close to the Urzaiz train station with a large sign above that can be seen from the station. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Javier went out of his way to help me and provide plenty of useful information. The room was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. The price was the best deal I had in all my Spanish traveling. I did not eat breakfast only because I had to leave early.

Google Maps was not helpful. I think due to the hills and winding roads that had various elevation changes. No complaints regarding the hotel or staff.

The staff was friendly and very helpful. I came by car and despite the garage being full (they offer a few free parking spaces there), the man at the reception was very helpful in making sure I could still park (free of charge) by letting me use the hotel parking spot in front. It was one of the few decent looking hotels in the lower price category but this did not affect the quality: simply but clean and comfortable rooms, pleasant bathroom, central location (right next to a large shopping mall, very convenient). I travelled for work and found this a very comfortable and affordable option.

Excellent cheap and cheerful hotel with really helpful reception. Comfy beds and pillows and a good bathroom. Great location next to one train station and not far from the other. Also right next to bus to airport.

The walls are thin and it is in a busy location so bring some earplugs!

The hostel is simply equipped but it offers everything one needs. The room was clean and comfortable, the bathroom was modern. The location is awesome (directly opposite the Urzaiz station). The young woman at the reception was very helpful and she gave me recommendations for places to visit in Vigo. I didn't order breakfast, so I can't tell anything about that.

Strong cigarette smell in the corridor, but it could fade away as I opened the window.

Great location. Clean room and helpful staff. This is my third stay here for short trips to visit family. Central location within a few mins walk to the train station and shopping mall and close to town.

Cleanliness perfect, shower is very big, 24/7 staffed reception, located very near to Urzaiz train station, shops, restaurants and cafés

Breakfast is charged at €8 extra, I didn't have time to try it, so I'm not able to rate it.

Parking worked out perfectly. Staff were very helpfull in directing us to an exceptional local restaurant just around the corner....even had breakfast there next morning . The place is extremely crisp and clean. Great price.

convenient location in the city close to transport hub and plenty of restaurants and bars. It showed that this is a family owned hotel as nothing was too much trouble, was impeccably clean, nice continental breakfast and very good advice from the reception desk as to where to eat at night.
