From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I was greeted by the warmth of the staff, and the receptionist made check-in a smooth and efficient process. The attention to detail in the design of the Jaffna Heritage Villa reflects the city's cultural heritage, creating an atmosphere that seamlessly blends modern comfort with a touch of history. The hotel's helper boy, who hails from Kegalle, proved to be not just an assistant but a friendly guide throughout my stay. His local insights and willingness to go the extra mile added a personal touch to my Jaffna experience. The true highlight of my stay, however, was the culinary journey at the hotel's restaurant. The chefs at Jaffna Heritage Villa masterfully presented traditional Jaffna cuisine alongside international dishes, providing a delightful fusion that catered to a variety of tastes. Each meal was a celebration of flavors, and the restaurant's ambiance only enhanced the overall dining experience. The only minor inconvenience during my stay was the need to check in at the main hotel and then walk to the villa. The distance was short, but on rainy days, it proved to be a bit challenging. Nevertheless, the exceptional service and the genuine hospitality of the staff quickly overshadowed this small hiccup.

Rooms were good, and the shower was great. Staff were friendly and were always available to assist. Breakfast was simple and good. Room aircond was good.

The common area was very warn and not air-conditioned. It had fans but was just circulating the same warm air. Could have just provided air cond at common area or else guest will be stuck in their own room and no benefit of the common area.

Fantastic location, beautiful interior and world class customer service. We were always at ease, from the moment we enter we were treated with renowned Sri Lankan hospitality… Vijay and Ashad were always there to accomodate our requests with a smile and never missed a chance to ask what they can do to make our stay a pleasant experience. Although we never got his name, even the security person greeted us with a smile and offered great travel advise about the area. The breakfast buffet was definitely another highlight, had a great variety of foods to suit our taste. We would love to recommend the place anyone travelling to Jaffna.

The staff were very friendly and polite. The villa was very cosy and loved the privacy it provided. Beautiful murals on the room that spoke a lot about the local culture. Rooms were very big and spacious. Bathrooms exceptionally clean. Food was absolutely heaven on earth. Local Jaffna food was a new favourite.

They need to buy new furniture for the room. Broken cabinets and chairs brings the standard down. We had 4 rooms two showers were not good.

We had a 2 night stay at the villa and it was lovely! The staff was very helpful,friendly and attentive. Clean and cozy rooms. They had a lovely spread of local cuisine for all the meals which was really yummy.. No complaints.. Will be visiting again very soon..

Excellent authentic Jaffna food with added western spread. Staff were more than happy to attend to our requests. The location is very close to Railway station, it was also close proximity to the Jaffna town. Safe location with ease of access.

be wary that the temple start to worship at about 3:30, so if you wish to sleep longer bring sufficient earplugs.

The hotel was much much better than we expected after being disappointed in the previous hotel we stayed. The manager Mr.Wijekumar was incredibly friendly and helped us a lot. The rooms were good. Well maintained and comfortable. The food was also really good considering it is totally vegetarian and traditional. Would recommend for anyone :)

The property is very close to the Nallur temple and a five minute taxi ride from the Jaffna train station. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They only serve breakfast at the hotel which may be a challenge for some. The room have basic facilities.

Air conditioning wasn’t great
