Great location right next to the beach and all the restaurants. On the beach snorkeling with really big turtles which are literraly always there. Accomodation itself is perfect. Place is full of trees of all kinds so there is always some shade when around dominant 25m long swiming pool. Rooms with AC and comfortable beds far away from road so nights are quiet. Recomend to book with breakfast which is very nice and rich. All the staff and the owner very friendly and always helpfull. We wanted to stay one night,but extended for three. You cannot go wrong with staying here!

My partner and I enjoyed 2 weeks at Turtle Eco Park as part of a 3 week trip to Sri Lanka. Looking for rest and renewal we were drawn to the location of this property as well as the very convenient pool! The location honestly is absolutely perfect. Steps from the beach and views of turtles and whales, and so many great restaurants within walking distance. On arrival the helpful staff instantly helped us rent an affordable scooter to get around, and were always on hand to give advice, recommendations and just a friendly smile. We loved the gardens, pool and great sized rooms. We honestly enjoyed the best holiday at Turtle Eco Beach and will definitely return.

Turtle: Right in front of the hotel is a spot where you can swim with turtle... (Funny enough they are not shy and swim to you) Location: You are right ocean front and meters aways from night beach restaurants Staff: Including owner were super helpfull and welcoming Pool: The 25 x meters pool was quite a suprise... also a blessing to find it cristal clear (Which is not the case in other hotel we went during out trip) The wooden bungalow: were very charming and authentic,... with all the modern confort (Nice to have a good working AC after a day visiting. The food option: are limited, but good quality, normaly priced and available.

Quite frankly nothing. i didn't like.. this places tick all the boxes...

The staff was exceptional! We stayed in several hotels in Sri lanka and we were always very well received, but this was definitely the kindest and most generous staff we met. On the last day, we had our flight in the evening and, not only they allowed us to enjoy the rest of the day by the pool, as they also provided us an empty room to shower before our flight and offered us a bottle of water for the trip to the airport- small gestures that make a difference. The space in general is really cozy and pleasant; you can see turtles swimming by the cost on the beach right in front if the resort.

Loved the overall atmosphere of the place. My room was simple, but the bed was comfortable, the outdoor shower felt like a little treat (bonus: with hot water!), and the bathroom was clean. The staff was very friendly and i very much enjoyed my stay here. Right across the place you have the beach, restaurants, lots of options for tuktuks and most important: a spot to swim with turtles!!

The food at the restaurant is quite basic, but the breakfast is delicious! But the food from the restaurant during lunch or for a snack could be better. This is fair; it's a good option if you need some food, but otherwise, there are many other great options around. Ow, and the black leather sun bed covers are scorching when they've been in the sun for a bit; watch out! 2 towels were not enough to keep it from burning my skin. Maybe some new ones in a light color would be a good option (:

We had a nice family holidays at Turtle eco beach. The place is very authentic and charming. There is a great pool and the beach with turtles is just across the road with many options for food, massage etc. The staff was great, very helpful. The owner, Michel, was also very attentive to make our stay pleasant. He also gave us a great recommendation for a small local place for seafood. It was the best sea food of the holidays. I definitely recommend this place for family holidays. The location was also very convenient to explore other places on the cost, such as Weligama where the whole family could take surf lessons and our little one still enjoy the sea safely.

Good location. Walking out of the property to the right (Madiha) was quite different than walking to the left. (Polhena) Plenty of bar, restaurant and cafe options both directions. Great, helpful staff. Lovely garden and long swimming pool. Cool Outside bathroom with trees growing in it. Good size room . Great aircon and mosquito net.

Daughters in family room (12) had a very mouldy wall backing onto the shower. We would have loved to have a kettle in our room.

Incredibly charming place in Matara, with a stunning pool in the middle of a luscious garden, few steps away from the ocean. The property has been designed with taste, one cannot help but relax fully here. Location is convenient, a stone away from Doctor house with its crazy nightlife, close to many restaurant options and main attraction sites in the area. The real asset of this place though, it’s the staff!! The kindest sweetest most genuine people, they went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable! It was my birthday and they even arranged some decoration in my room made with flowers which was so so sweet!! I was impressed.

Few things could be improved: - making the room more efficient; I.e. adding more storage place - better Wi-Fi Also I thought the food was a little too bland for my taste and was surprised to be told that they had no chili sauce or anything other than salt and pepper.

Turtle Eco Beach is a very, very beautiful place if you want to visit Mirissa. It is located next to the famous The Doctor’s House - a hipsters‘ heaven (restaurant/bar/club with great food and outdoor lounge areas). The hotel has everything you need - great outdoor showers, beautiful Sri Lankan interiors, an elongated pool and more: you can hear the ocean waves all night long. In contrast to staying in the hustle and bustle of Mirissa, you can enjoy some peace and quiet at Turtle Eco and the beach is right next door and is simply incredibly beautiful. Highly recommended.

Enoying tuk tuk drivers waiting in front of the hotel doors. It was really unconfortable and sometimes scary for woman. I dont feel save there thanks to them. I understand they want money but when we leaving we order a uber driver with car and they was so angry and stoped us in the car and start yelling on our driver. What we could do? We dont want spend 2 hours in the tuk tuk for nonsense money. They dont understand word “no”. 🙁 Of you can do with it something. 🙏🏼
