The moment you walked in, you are welcomed by their warm and friendly staff. The check-in process was quick and we were ushered to our rooms. Our rooms were big and comfortable. The toilets somehow does not have much sound-proofing and you can hear a lot of what is happening next door! The breakfast selection was sufficient. The main restaurant only serves a buffet. If you prefer ala carte, they have a food court which serves a variety of food. There is table service at the food court and the staff at the hotel are excellent throughout. We needed some prescription medication and Shakir from the front desk was excellent at helping us call local pharmacies. He went above and beyond to help us and we are very grateful for his efforts. Everyone here have been welcoming and friendly to us, they were very warm and they made our stay memorable.

Coffee at breakfast was not good. We opted for instant coffee instead. The wifi was not very stable in both our rooms.

The location of the hotel is super. Very close to the city,shops and the park. Bare in mind that there is a temple just across from the hotel and sounds coming from it were loud during the day until sunset time. There is no AC in the room but heater is available so we struggled at night a bit. There is a window that lets air in but petrol station is by the hotel and smell of gas was strong so had to close it for the night. There is a supermarket and food court unlike any other food courts you've been to. We tried almost everything on the menu on separate days and everything was just spectacularly delicious. There is another indian restaurant 2 minutes away and also was good. There is a salon,spa and few shops. Internet speed was the best out of all hotels we went to. Great hotel and highly recommended 👌

Break fast spread was good but I guess the staff were all trainees including the Cheffs. Taste of the food was mediocre as we had been to other Hotels in SriLanka prior to coming to Aralia.

Taste of the food. There was no steam/sauna or Jacuzzi which should have been provided though there was a temp controlled swimming pool which was great but when someone comes on a vacation and paying so much, such basic things are expected.

Access to great food court and supermarket on lower level, brilliant breakfast, large comfortable Spa room and easy location to town shops and tea plantations

Location & view above service station complete with fumes (there’s no air conditioning) & early morning car noise. During cleaning towels & robe taken but not replaced for all of our 4 rooms

Good spacious rooms and a comfortable bed

It’s just to big - The staff didn’t have a clue what they were doing The carpets dated and badly marked there’s no character in the place . The breakfast restaurant was an over sized characterless room with 8 people watching you eat with nothing better to do . The breakfast food choices ok. At night we ate at the Grand hotel - only wished we had stayed here

The location was in the heart of city and the rooms were big and spacious. We stayed in suite which was great.

Limited vegetarian food options

Staff here far superior to the sister hotel Araliya Green Hills. Much more professional and polite.

Excellent Location, couldn't ask for more. The rooms size was huge, haven't seen such big rooms in Srilanka. the view was okay because the hotel was in city center.

The reception people were very rude and were not accommodating at all. The reception was usually empty. We checked out at 7 in the morning for which we had to wait for the hotel staff to reach to hotel for an hour. The fuel station right next to the hotel ruins its beauty.

Very nice and friendly staff. The location is superb. You have a food court next to the hotel which makes life very easy if you are in a hurry or want a small snack in between.

Room was ok but not as clean as you would expect.
