The staff were all very polite and welcoming and had a freshly squeezed juice when we arrived. The room was beautiful, a great size and the bed was very comfortable. The use of the tuk tuk for the evening was also super! Came in handy a few times. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and freshly prepared. The pool was quiet and a great option when not going to the beach or on rainy days. Great access to local buses and not too far walking or with tuk tuk from unawatuna Town or Galle Perfect views for breakfast and in the pool looking out to the sea. Literally, a stone throw from some beach restaurants and access to the beach

Sadly, there were ants in our room along a wall close to the bed, and our flush didn't work well in the toilet. Often, the water ran cold in our shower too. The owners of the property were around a lot but they didn't really engage with us as much as they did with the other guests. We felt they were keeping an eye on their staff As good as breakfast was for extras (bacon etc) it was quite expensive considering the price we paid for the whole stay. The area is quite touristy and I wouldn't recommend this place for back packers unless you don't mind getting the bus. Also a drink we had from the fridge was flat.

Wonderful stay at the beautiful hotel. The hotel has the best views in Unawatuna. The rooms are of a good size and well furnished. The breakfast is excellent with a choice of local or international dishes. The staff are super friendly and attentive. Easy walk into the town. We ate at a lovely fish restaurant called Daffodil. We will most definitely return to the Panorama. We took away happy memories of a special stay. Thank you so much!

Staff were helpful. Pool was nice and breakfast was good. Road up to the hotel is up a steep hill but they offer a tuk tuk service to take you.up until 10pm

No WiFi in the rooms which is a big negative for us. Decor is slightly dated and be warned if you're over 6 ft as the door frame was low for the bathroom. They don't sell alcohol on the premises which would have been nice to enjoy a sundowner. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

POOL WITH MONKEYS IN THE OVERHANGING TREES. incredible views and right next to the beach (actually at the nicer end of the shore which was less busy and more sandy) the rooms are very convenient and clean. One of the best places we stayed in during our trip. thoughtful and kind owners that arranged a taxi all the way from the airport to make our life very easy. We would also recommend black and white cafe on the beach near the hotel - great food and lovely service.

The facility is of a very high standard. Cleanliness top! Taking care of customer satisfaction is the main message for all staff. The room was very good! Breakfasts were very tasty. The pool was very clean and loved by the children. Additionally, there are no crowds of guests, so relaxing in the afternoon after a stay on the nearby beaches is perfect. We highly recommend this hotel

Quiet and relaxing with a lovely pool and view of the bay. We stayed in a bunglow which was spacious and very clean. Lovely breakfast of fruit, smoothies/eggs/toast and pancakes. The staff were all friendly and helpful.

No safety deposit box, although you are able to have valuables put in the hotel safe. No alcoholic drinks available.

The hotel is situated in a picturesque place, you can enjoy nice views from its territory including the ocean. The bungalow was very clean, the personnel is highly professional and helpful. Breakfasts were delicious and nourishing.

Wi-fi doesn’t work inside the bungalow, we had to walk to reception zone in order to use it

Loved the pool and the view. We were in Bungalow No.1, spacious , spotlessly clean, private porch, quiet. Amazing breakfast and friendly staff. Free tuk tuk up the hill to the hotel ( hence the good view of the bay). Less than a 5 minute walk to beach by Peacock Hotel.

White bed linen would look more modern and appealing.

The view is wonderful for sunset, and the staff were so welcoming and looked after our every need. The rooms were cleaned well and tidy.

The hill up was quite steep but the stairs were not too bad and there is a free tuk tuk up the hill but the views are worth it.

Lovely little hotel (I think it's only 10 rooms), less than 10 mins walk to Unawatuna Beach and the main street. Hotel is on the top of the hill overlooking the bay, so the views are spectacular and the location ensures that it's peaceful with any road noise reduced to a, barely noticeable, background murmur. The pool is a nice size and shares the same views. All of the staff are very friendly. The only downside is the steep ramp/steps that you have to climb to get to the hotel - although up until 10pm they have a TuKTuk that will take you up. While it's probably not suitable for anyone with mobility issues, as long as you are able to cope with the ramp/steps, the climb is a fair trade-off for the location and views.
