The location is amazing. We had a sea view room which was large comfortable and of course great views.

Great Location, very friendly staff, large rooms. Fantastic breakfast. Nice restaurant on the beach. We spent a wonderfull last few chill days of our two weeks trip in Sri Lanka.

Everything was nice. But as only remark we could mention the beach beds. They could be replaced by more adjustable sunbeds.

Lovely property, great location, welcoming staff, bonus of additional facilities at sister property nearby, Tasty food served in the beach restaurant and the breakfast included was amazing with hot options, bread and pastries basket, fresh fruit and delicious fruit juices

The only negative was having to leave! Would love to stay longer in future

We absolutely loved the location. Right on the beachfront and central of the small town with lots of restaurants and shops. Kevin in particular was an absolute star, went above and beyond - cobstantly smiling, welcoming and all the staff couldn't do enough for us. Kiki was our favourite furry friend. The free shuttle to use the pool at the sister Hotel was really great and an added bonus. Would definitely recommend staying here.

The bed could've been ever so slightly comfier and the doors are quite thin as we were staying above the kitchen so heard noise until about 10pm but if you're out later you wouldn't noticecon your return and we still slept okay.

Beautiful building and decor with stunning views of the beach. The staff were great with the kids and super helpful. Great location onto beach and lovely walk towards the temple at the other end. Good selection of food and breakfast. We like that we were able to access the other hotel pools and spa facilities. They even organised a breakfast pack to take with us when we left early for the airport.

The rooms are just next to the beach. Beach is very clean and crystal clear water. Though the rooms are small in size, they were equipped with all the necessities., including mini bar and tea/coffee maker. Breakfast was super. Dinner was served a la carte and was very quick and fulfilled all our different food requests without any hesitation. The staff were very friendly, always ready to help with heartiest smiles on their faces.

everything perfect with this hotel. we love it. Everything was perfect, the cleanliness, the facilities, the breakfast, the delicious food. It is literally in front of the beach and you can swim all day. The girls at the reception were charming and had a great restaurant and business near the hotel.

What I liked about this hotel is that everything, absolutely everything was amazing! I highly recommend room #11, a penthouse, it has the best ocean view with balcony! It gave me opportunity to fully relax during my vacation and forget about ongoing work issues, while having delicious meal in the room 🤩 On the last day of my staying I got a table reservation near the ocean with a "goodbye" lettering and a candle! It was soooo cute and unexpected, I was touched! 🥰 In addition to all the above, Thaproban Beach House has a great food and super helpful personnel, which made my stay even more pleasant! I'd like to especially recognize following personnel: 1. Sanda, a reseption lady, for making sure I have all my reservations on time (massage, joga, palm reading - another benefits this hotel is offering), and for answering any of my whatsapp requests 24/7! 😊 2. Mr. Thunga - a brilliant Chef, the memories of how delightful his food tastes (especially calamaries) make me wanna go back😍 3. All the personnel who made my stay unforgettable: Harshani, Sachini, Chaminda and my tuk-tuk driver Buddhikka for his smiles! And to all the others for their kindness! ❤ Special thanks to Mr. Thilina for always being around, being so nice and looking after my comfort! Thank you, guys, for taking care of me. Everything was perfect!

Big and stylish room, bathroom has walk-in shower, which is quite rare for Sri Lanka. The hotel looks like a colonial old house, which gives a lot of charm. lt's located on the beach and close to all shops and restaurants. Room cleaned every day, free water provided daily.

The room was quite noisy, because it doesn't have insulation. There is a window on top of the door which makes impossible blackout in the night. The walls should be repainted because they have some stains.

The location was perfect. Right on the beach and the quiet street (not main road) where all the restaurants and bars were. we stayed in the penthouse which has a split level where the boys slept upstairs and we slept in the main part. The balcony was amazing to have. The staff were all so friendly and the resident stray dogs which have been adopted by them are lovely too. If you come to Sri Lanka you need to understand there are stray dogs everywhere so you can’t moan that they come in the seating areas. The food in the Resturant was really good and I was also impressed with the breakfast. You certainly won’t go hungry! I didn’t realise when booking it but they have 2 other hotels with pools so you can be taken there if you want too which is great.

The pictures seem to have been taken a long time ago so the room and bathroom is looking a little tired and needs to be freshened up quite a bit. Also above the door is a window to the corridor so at night it lets light into the room.
