The hotel is conveniently located across the road from the Central Station, and it is an easy walk to the town with its variety of shops, cafe’s & restaurants. The hotel has a comfortable reception lounge area with coffee & tea always available. The fabulous buffet breakfast is a great start to the day. The reception staff are friendly & helpful, and the cleaning staff do a great job.

Location on the Kattegatleden, opposite train station and a short walk into the town centre, so very convenient. Excellent welcome and very accommodating about bike storage - a locked basement. Our room was small, but we knew that when booking, however every facility was carefully located within it. Breakfast was excellent. It was a very good value stay for us.

Hotel lounge/reception/waiting area is beautiful - we were provided with a fridge in our room (to store milk for kids) which was greatly appreciated. We were not aware of cots being available as Booking.com didn't provide that info, so thankfully after making inquiries with hotel, a cot was made available which was super helpful.

No fan in the ensuite which was rather annoying as smell from the toilet can be quite unpleasant. We had dirty nappies inthe toilet bin (as have 2 young kids) so had to keep the toilet door shut all the time but smell remained inside until the bin was emptied the following morning. Breakfast is generally good but not great ...... there isnt many cooked breakfast items for vegetarians plus there wasn't any baked items like muffins/Croissant/pastries as offered in other 4 star hotels. Fruit cake is the closest thing which kids don't often like.

The location was great for the city and station. The rooms were clean, bright and comfortable. Reception area very nice with lounges off it which were nice to relax in. Service was very good breakfast plentiful and tasty. Staff very pleasant and helpful.

There was renovations being done to the exterior of the building and scaffolding was not a good sight on arrival but it didn't take away the joy of staying there.

This was our 2nd visit in 9 months, enjoyed both times. Stay was great, family friendly. Super friendly staff, room was good with comfy beds. Location was great - overall great hotel

Breakfast is generally good but they don't seem to have much hot food option for vegetarians. Would be nice to have some alternative to sausages/bacon for those of us who would like a hot breakfast other than egg & beans.

We only spent one night at the hotel, but we had a really good time. We were two adults with two kids, and our room was nicely spacious and fit for purpose. The bathroom was also very comfortable. And finally, the breakfast, which was included in the price, was rich, good and offered plenty of options for both adults and kids. All of this for a reasonable price. Highly recommended!

Nothing really we had a very good stay

The breakfast was excellent and the location was perfect… Close to the city center within walking distance, which I loved and across the street from the train station made it fabulous location

The room was very warm, which made it uncomfortable to sleep and get ready for my meetings.. Had issues with my curtains in the room, which never really did get fixed properly

Lovely older style hotel, close to all the tourist spots in a great town and right opposite the train station (although we came by car), really nice breakfast, professional and efficient staff, super comfy beds

Too warm, even on one of the summer's cooler days. No air-conditioning, and the windows didn't open very far in one of the two rooms we booked (although the second room, a courtyard room, had a fully opening window). Two small electric fans were already running in the hot room, which was thoughtful. But my advice is to try to book a courtyard room, especially in the summer.

Everything about this hotel was excellent and very well priced. Highly recommend it. Staff was welcoming and enthusiastic about making our stay in the hotel and the city the best possible. Dining was excellent. We had dinner there and everything was perfect. The breakfast buffet is the best we experienced in three weeks of travel in six countries. A fine hotel!!

Great location opposite the train station and next to a park. Standard room was good size and clean. Restaurant was very good. Staff were very friendly.

Room was very hot at night and we couldn't open the window fully. Less of an issue if you visit when it is cold.
