From my first inquiry, Bjorn was beyond helpful. We had family meeting in Stockholm to begin out journey. Bjorn suggested Lulea as the nearest airport where we rented a car for the drive to Jokkmokk-the place where the magic begins. The glass huts was extraordinary-the best possible use of every inch of space. It was toasty warm inside and perfectly furnished. The views were out of this world. Bjorn also booked several adventures for us: snowmobiling, dog sledding and a visit to a Sami reindeer herder. One night he cooked for us, another perfect evening. We had two huts for three nights, which began with a Northern lights show. We could not have wished for anything more.

There was not one thing we would have changed!

We had an amazing experience staying at the hut for two nights. We got to see the northern lights on both nights which it was extraordinary. The scenery was spectacular and it was literally peace and quiet. The breakfast was good and we also tried the dinner on ice which it was also very nice - however a bit pricy for the portions. The staff were very helpful and they actually drove us from Jokkmokk to the huts and back with the snowmobile. The huts are around 8km away from the town .. we also tried walking there which took us about 2hrs. The nature around is so pure it is definitely worth visiting.

The only thing is that there was no shower and the pillows were not great. For the price we payed i would also expect to get clean sponges for the the dishes, there was no hand wash when we went in and also the sheets seemed to be wrinkled. We also couldn't seem to find the first-aid kit when we needed a plaster. Just a bit more attention to details.

Peace and quiet is the perfect name for this hotel, we trully were alone surrounded by beautiful nature! The room is cosy, comfortable and very smartly designed. We had a wonderful time, cooked ourselves dinner enjoyed the sound of rain on the glass for a while and then were lucky to have a nothern lights show. They were reflecting on the water, dancing in the sky with no light pollution. Björn is a great host and he provided us a delicious local breakfast. We really recommend the place and would love to come back.

This was a trip of a life time! Björn and the staff were AMAZING and took care of our needs. Make sure you book his excursions. We did snowmobiling, reindeer herding, ice dinners and cryotherapy. worth every cent! The hut/igloo was warm (much warmer than I expected and had basic facilities including wifi.

We LOVED everything. Somethings to know before you go.., this is HIGH END GLAMPING. There is no shower in the hut, the bathroom is small but very functional, there were no outlets, but we had USB ports to charge our cell phones and charger brinks.

MAGICAL EXPERIENCE ! Bjorn is a great host and our stay at the igloo was absolutely perfect. We are alone on the frozen lake, perfect to see the stars and if you are lucky, the northern lights... Several great activities selected by Bjorn, don't miss them out. We spent 3 nights there and it was absolutely perfect. Our favourite evening was when we did a barbecue on the ice by ourselves, quite an experience! Few things to note to make sure you ready: no bathroom (only the kitchen sink and dry toilets) and no plugs (only usb ones, very convenient to charge the phone).

We watched the stars most of the night, woke up to a beautiful sunrise. It was so peaceful, serene, to lie there in the bed , cozy in blankets, while watching the icy river outside and the beautiful nature! The comfort of the hut is great, we are positively surprised about how it’s solved with such technical excellency. The Owner of the Hotel is a very nice guy who made sure we had a great welcome. It was good that they also provided drinks and snacks. It was lovely to drink the clean, fresh river water from the pump although that’s fully voluntary.

Just be aware if you arrive in darkness that you will have to walk through the forest for a bit. Once you arrive in the hut you probably won’t feel to go back to Jokkmokk since it’s 8 km from the town + a bit of walking through forest so I recommend you consider bring food to cook if you plan to stay for longer.

One of the most unique stays we've ever tried. Everything is perfect. Björn, the owner, has a very clear vision for his business and you feel that this is sustainable tourism. They try to place you in a solo bay in one of the huts, so you get the feeling of being completely alone, or if you are two couples, two huts next to each other. You even get picked up in a snowmobile.

The hut was very well equipped, the design was very clever and unique (especially the cooler that was built into the floor) . The bed was very comfortable and you could control the temperature of the hut . The host was super friendly and helpful, he went the extra mile to help me with activities around Jokkmokk and showed me the ice bath which was very close by. The breakfast was amazing, with local bread and jam which I loved

Amazing stay! This is an experience I wish everybody to live once in a lifetime! I could come back any time and I hope the next time I come, it will be in winter. Anyway, this is the best place ever where you can regenerate your mind and soul. This is also very romantic. Thank you Björn and your daughters for your warm and lovely welcome. Just two petty suggestions: A full door between bed and toilet would be great ;) and maybe a mosquito net at the door would allow for some fresh air during summer. Nethetheless, a great stay!
