Beautiful surroundings with a view of Gripsholm Castle and Lake Mälaren. Large shared room with a well-equipped kitchen. A rich buffet breakfast in a hotel 500m away - a pleasant morning walk. Poetic city Mariefred offers lovely evening walks.
Rooms equipped just by two single bunk beds, but nice and clean, all other shared by more rooms, WC across the corridor.

That’s beautiful village. The hotel is very close to castle and city centre. The rooms are small but comfortable. That’s enough to sleep. Very nice place.
The breakfast was in main building. We need to go out and walk around 8-10 minutes.

Superb breakfast with a lot of choice. Gripsholms castle and town centre is a couple of minutes of walking away. In opposite direction - nature reserve with deers - great for walking/jogging.
Reception is in the main hotel in town 1 km away. Wi-fi signal was weak in the room.

The location is great and the property has a very authentic atmosphere. I especially enjoyed the decor and facilities of the other location, where the breakfast was served. The breakfast itself was also exceptional.
The property positions itself as “Bed and Breakfast” and has parking available, however the parking lot is a few hundred meters away from the apartment and the breakfast is served at a separate location, which you have to walk to for 15-20 minutes every morning. The condition of shared bathrooms and the overall build were not great for a long-term stay, even though it was a nice experience!
