The location is incredible, right by the water and the old town. The apartment is spacious and clean, providing a comfortable stay. Additionally, the hotel nearby serves a delicious breakfast that you can easily reach within a few minutes walk.

The staff, although helpful, didn't quite create the most welcoming atmosphere. Moreover, the apartment lacked basic provisions like coffee, tea, and cooking essentials such as oil and spices. However, I did find some solace in knowing that tea and instant coffee were conveniently available for pickup at the hotel.

We really liked the location as it was across from the water and an easy walk to explore the town. We were with extended family for a few days before a family wedding and it was great to have access to a bar area to catch up with everyone as they arrived from Australia. The breakfast was lovely.

As it was very hot a top sheet or light blanket instead of the doona would have been great.

Perfect location right on the scenic waterfront. Staff were absolutely brilliant - went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. Our favourite part of the stay was the complimentary coffee and snacks which the staff were kind enough to allow us the privilege of even after we checked out because we had a late train back to Stockholm. Special thanks to Emma for her courteousness, helpfulness and patience. Excellent hotel and will definitely stay here if I ever have the fortune to return to Mariestad again. Tack så mycket!

Nice old hotel in the center of Mariestadt. Location is just perfect, at the edge of old town on the lakefront. Central building is very nice and cosy, although other buildings looks a bit dated. And there was free coffee and pastry at evening :)

would have more variety of fruits for breakfast, if possible. had a challenge with the attic window, as i couldn't find a way to open it. suppose cultural differences and habits are an issue for users.

There was no problem bringing a large dog. We had the possibility to use our own entrance. Everyone slept comfortably, and had a nice breakfast. Staff was very friendly and relaxed.

The TV in the room had very few channels that worked. Absolutely not a big deal, nobody watched TV anyway. But good to know if you think that is important.

Really enjoyed our stay here. It was like staying in an old school hotel. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Had a nice outdoor bar area/deck which was great as we had excellent weather. Also good vale for money.

Broken blinds in nearly all of the rooms in the apartment.

Great location just across the marina and very nice staff. Breakfast was good with plenty of choices and enjoyed outdoors. We were on a bicycle trip and the staff kindly let us keep our bikes safely in a storage room. It was really warm, but we had 2 fans in our room that made it easier to sleep.

The bed was a little bit hard and the bathroom needs an upgrade. Daily cleaning can be improved.

may have been the date and time of our visit but bar/terrace shut at 9:30 so we couldn’t watch the sunset from what would have been a perfect location
