Very good location as its right opposite the Ferry Terminal back to Gotland. Very convenient. Breakfast room had an out door section which was enjoyable to eat and have our coffee outdoors. Room although on the smaller side but still sufficient for a nights stay. Stayed with my Dad with walking disabilities so stayed on the ground floor, no balcony/patio. Good and balanced spread for breakfast. Service and staff very friendly and helpful.

Sound proofing for the rooms could be improved, could hear the neighbors moving around in their rooms as well as in and out of the rooms. Dad snored so I couldn't sleep much and can't imagine what the neighbours had to endure. Other than that, great place for a night.

Hotel situated close to Nynäshamn's guest harbour, where good activities take place. Close, cost-free parking and WiFi. Great, delicious breakfast with a wide offer of specialities. Super friendly and engaged staff! Possible to sit on a sunny varanda in front of the hotel and enjoy a beer :-). Enough space in closet to store things. Extra towel for bathroom floor. Elevator to reach the floors.

"Plastic" cover under the bed sheets (we personally do not like this thing ...). When updating the room (might happen in near future?) please consider replacing the bath tub by a shower cabin (will save space and avoid floor flooding). Too much distance between fixed installed hairdryer and mirror and no electrical socket outlet in the bathroom to e.g. charge an electrical tooth brush.

It's a fun place, the theme is 'Fisherman's cottage'. The style is of the 1960s and there is a fair amount of visible wear-and-tear. Not that I minded, I would call it patina. You are not staying at a Hilton. The staff are friendly, the location excellent: Five minutes (on foot or by car) from the ferry to Gotland, five minutes from the fishing harbour with restaurants, or from the train station for Stockholm (one hour). Free parking, but talk to the reception about that. The breakfast is fine, outdoors or indoors, depending on the weather.

I loved this hotel. Near the train station but not noisy. They have a truly fantastic breakfast that is hard to beat. Everything is clean and comfortable. A lovely place to relax with all I needed. The windows opened nicely and the heat was as much as I could have ever wanted. They have a great staff. I have stayed twice and would go again if in the area!

The only tiny thing was the shower curtain. I hate to even mention it because everything is so perfect, but the shower curtain billows inward and sticks to me during the shower. It is not easy to prevent this in the usual ways because of the way the curtain is situated. Needs a weight in the lower seam or a less generous amount of fabric so it doesn't billow quite so far.

Excellent location for using any of the ferries from Nynasham. Easy to park with a voucher from the hotel check-in. A family run hotel with I guess many returning visitors and if I come to the area again it will be my first choice. The staff at check-in were so welcoming and friendly and made everything clear. The reception is the the cosy bar and the downstairs area feels just like someone's home. After a lot of travelling this was such a laid-back and charming place. The breakfast was quite outstanding being varied and of good quality and with a clear system of collecting food etc from the counters unlike many hotels at which I have stayed. Maybe it was the fact that I had been travelling for some time but I felt that it was almost like home. I was visiting a relative in Stockholm and a short walk from the hotel was the commuter railway with trains every half hour.

Skärgårdshotellet, located very close to the ferry terminal, is a convenient choice for travelers. However, it's important to note that parking is not free; you must pay via mobile phone or at the lobby. Unfortunately, this information wasn't provided during check-in, resulting in an unexpected fine the next day. Nevertheless, the tasty and fresh breakfast was a pleasant surprise.

After check-out, the staff requested that we leave the lobby, not allowing even an hour's wait for the ferry in inclement and windy weather outside.

Poor ventilation in the bathroom, there was a 60th party on our final night we weren’t informed about the noise and how long it would last, music and bass was very loud in our room, this was concerning as we had to leave early the following morning, all guests should have been informed

Location is very handy by the port and town centre. The breakfast was great, with several flavours of really good quality tea which is very rare. Tea and coffee was available all day. Breakfast time was adjusted to suit the participants of the orienteering event that were staying in the hotel. Friendly and useful advice on where in town to eat from the reception staff.

I had stayed at the hotel before, so -as solo traveller this time- I rebooked without searching any other hotels. Perfect location for my travel plan, supercute room with fast internet, veeeery friendly staff, nice breakfast with a variety of goods for a low fat to a "full-extra" diet, being served also in an open area! For those who travel with the Gotland ferries or train, the hotel is next to both terminals. Being able to rent a bicycle is a plus!

This is a gorgeous hotel. It has loads of personality, is very clean and comfortable. Even the lift is decorated in a seaside cottage look. My room had a seaview and small deck. The breakfast was massive and tasty. 5 min walk to the Gotland ferry. I wanted to stay forever.
