Excellent location overlooking the harbor, around the corner from the main walking street. We were upgraded to a larger room with a cozy sitting area where a couple of candles and warm cups of tea set the mood for a good nights sleep on comfortable beds. Breakfast was cozy and covered all the bases. Very friendly service, down to earth personnel (the owners both create and serve the meals) and enjoyed our plates of fresh trout and plaice.

The decor in our front room was practical and clean, though somewhat dated. An interesting panel carrying an array of spotlights hung over our bed. (?!) Despite this, slept very well here!

Comfy beds, nice spacious room, common fridge in the hall and a delicious breakfast. The staff was very friendly and nice!

There was a bit of an old smell when we first came into the room, but we opened the window and it disappeared.

Cozy little hotel in front of the harbor. We had a small room with sea view which was very beautiful. Breakfast was great, for everybody something available. Staff was very nice and obliging.

Fantastic breakfast and very comfortable room. We enjoyed sitting in balcony once there wasn’t too much sun.

This property is in a great , quiet location and close to everything. The three hotel owners operate the on premises restaurant. Excellent cuisine!!

The location was great for exploring the lovely town of Simrishamn and dinner at the hotel was delicious and thoughtfully prepared by a confident and creative kitchen. We were waited on by one of the owners, Patrik, in addition to other lovely staff. Our room was in the larger and more modern property to the hotel, closest to the sea. Its purpose is for small conference but it would make a lovely location for a large family gathering where everyone could have their own room. In addition this is a very dog friendly property! +++

As an early riser, long before coffee is normally being served, I would have loved to have had a water cooker, cups and spoons to prepare tea or coffee in the morning and a mini fridge to keep perishable foods and beverages chilled. The breakfast waitress kept our organic coffee milk for us in the hotel kitchen refrigerator, which was very thoughtful. EARLY MORNING COFFEE TIP: The Preem petrol station just up the hill opens at 6:30 and has a fantastic Espresso House automatic coffee machine, and really friendly employees!
