We arrived late on our way back home. Apparently, a lot of people were traveling through Umeå that evening, and the front desk was very busy at midnight. Alexander handled the situation very professionally, though. Due to no available rooms of the ones that we had booked, we received an upgrade, which was especially nice after a long day of traveling with a small child. We got a corner room with an 180° view of the city towards the river, really lovely. The room was spacious, and the shower in the bathroom had a good size. The bed was comfortable. We all got a good night sleep. Breakfast was lovely in the modern restaurant right downstairs.

There were several holes in the sheets - one might want to check and switch these out. The pink glass bathroom door is a nice touch, but it gets too bright when the sun hits it in the morning. A bathroom mat (thicker towel) would have been great. We managed otherwise, but maybe it is worth changing in the future. Unless it was an honest mistake, and we did not receive it this time.

Pretty standard hotel breakfast. Mainly scrambled eggs, bacon and bread. But also plenty of small things to add. All of good quality. Room size is adequate. Especially if you are not planning to spend there much time. Bathroom is also of adequate size and convenient to use. I selected room with window, so view was also good. Located close to main bus station.

I found bed too soft. But that is subjective. Lighting switches are sluggish and located weirdly, but nothing one can't get used to. So nothing really bothered me there. I must note I stayed there for 2 nights only.

A very nice hotel in a great location. The hotel has no parking, but it was clearly stated in the description. Very friendly staff and pu dog was welcomed too. Fantastic city view from the top floor 🙂. The breakfast was very nice too!

One minor thing - the rooms panoramic window was not cleaned properly, which was a shame because the view from the top floor was simply mindblowing 🙂

By far the best hotel room I ever slept in. Had this huge panoramic window instead of outside wall with automated shade to keep it dark at too short late spring nights. Make sure you get a room on one of the higher floors: the view is incredible. The hotel is in the middle of city centre, with bus station directly in front of if, railway station a couple minutes walk and a 10€ per day garage just on the other side of the bus station. There's a 5min parking space at the entrance to unload the package if you made the mistake (like us) to come this high up north by car. Watch the traffic signs though: lots of no-car zones around there (the bus station too) Everything there is to be seen in Umeå is within short walking distance from the hotel. The restaurant on the ground floor is also pretty good featuring a menu with few, but well executed dishes.

Room just a tad too small with too little storage.

The superior room was nicely designed and spacious, comfy and clean. Big windows with the view to the city. Very friendly and helpful staff. Delicious breakfast, different menu choices. Modern and spacious bathroom was also nice.

The staff was quite noisy with their room doors, slamming them in the night. The air is a bit dry in the room.

*super location with super view, nice room, small but it is exactly what you need, it even has an office space and an armchair, what more do you need? *comfortable beds. *bathroom area ok, underfloor heating. *we traveled with a cat and we were very pleased with the reception made by the ladies at the reception and with all the comfort provided, we asked for an extra pillow and we even received 2 😀. *the varied breakfast satisfied all 3 :). We had pancakes ❤ ❤❤❤ we would come back here anytime! thank you.

Nicely appointed room. On the snug side for a twin room (would be better as a double) but was still comfortable enough. Great breakfast.

Quite a tight space for a twin room. Wouldn’t be an issue if using as a double instead.

The breakfast was finished too early 9.30 - should be at least until 10. At 9.15 the staff started to clean out the breakfast and I felt that I needed to hurry. There where food missing/ already finished when I arrived for breakfast.

It was a good located hotel with a great view from the window, cozy room, friendly and helpful personal.

There were no kettle in the room to have a cup of tea, and it was uncomfortable. And breakfast was a little bit poor as for me.

The staff was great and helpful. Breakfast ok.

For those arriving by car, parking is a bit challenging, you have to look for parking garages, which are however located very close. The hotel does not have its own parking lot
