The room was a lot more spacious than I thought – in fact, it was a 2-story, fully-equipped apartment, including a couch with a large smart TV (including Netflix), a fully-equipped kitchen, a real jacuzzi, and a washing machine/dryer. There was also a small garden available with a table and chairs, and a very large balcony. There were drinks and snacks in the fridge, and fresh cherries from the tree in the garden – a nice detail! The entire place was impeccably clean, the bed very comfortable, and the location very quiet. You will sleep well! The host Joel brought a breakfast basket that was absolutely amazing, including omelette, bacon, tomato, cucumber, various types of freshly baked bread rolls, cold cuts, cheese, butter, marmalade, jam from red berries, hard-boiled eggs, yoghurt, juice, fresh milk, and various fruits. I couldn't eat it all, and took the rest with me for the road. Upon my (very early) arrival Joel was easily reachable, and let me put my bags into the room (that still needed to be cleaning). The service was absolutely 5-star! Access to the room was via a keypad, which was easy to operate. The property was also just 10 minutes away on foot from the city center, and 3 minutes from the nearest bus stop (with connections to Motala, where you can catch a train to Linköping and from there all major cities in Sweden). It is a very good alternative to the two other major hotels in the city.

Need to put up a sign to make it easier to find. The stairs are really steep! The bed is comfortable, but you have to climb into it. Bathroom door bangs into basin.

We had a great time. We were staying in the family apartment with a lot of space to relax. The kitchen has all we needed, the bedroom is quiet and has a very comfortable bed. And last, but not least, the host, Joel, is the nicest person. Everything was very pleasant and after we told him we were vegans he gave us the best breakfast. By the way, Vadstena is a very lovely town.

Flat i stayed in has a cramped staircase down. No holder for the shower but it's a jacuzzi to be fair

Easy parking in yard. Very good location between slott and kloster area, short walk to both. Extremely good interior, in balcony one could sit and just relax, view was nice.

Very cute and friendly owner. He brought the breakfast himself at agreed time, and it was delicious and much too much. Very cunning about his town. Lovely balcony. Fin Tomte i skunken.

Written instructions on how to operate the TV and other electrical apparatuses would be nice. Further the water in the shower - an operation instruction - not to get a very cold shower from above. And the locks - that after three errors you need to wait a certain time - how long and what to do if it doesn't work.

Breakfast was so well organized, delicious and comprehensive. Our host Joele was always available in case we had any questions. You could ask him everything and it was done immediately. Close walking distance to castle, lake and town center. Free parking.

Exceptional breakfast, very nice owner who let us to check out later so we could visit the city. Highly recommend!
