The place was great, the staff was very friendly, the room was lovely and well equipped and everything was clean. Thank you very much for everything.

The room was extremely HOT... the fan was not enough... maybe a more powerful fan.... although I think Air Conditioning would be a great addition. Also, check in time at 17h is extremely difficult... maybe from 14h ?

The staff was so friendly and kind. I needed help with my bags and they had someone assist me immediately. They held my bags for me when I was checking out, they gave me breakfast and extra coffee, before it was even being served because I was up early and were just overall, lovely.

It was a lot of steep stair cases which definitely gave it character and beauty but it also made it very difficult for luggage/accessibility purposes.

My stay at Ristorante degli Angioli was fantastic. First, I had a warm welcome from the host, Sandy, upon booking my reservation. I was traveling alone, so she offered to pick me up from the train station in Locarno, which was so nice. I don't speak Italian, but it didn't matter, because Sandy and the rest of the staff were very accommodating in communicating in any languages (including some in English) and we made things work. My room was very comfortable and quiet. It had a private shower but no private toilet. However, the toilet was right next door to my room, so it really wasn't an issue. The breakfast was very good. The location of the hotel is fantastic, right on the waterfront with amazing views. The Stella restaurant was also fantastic. I was there over Easter and they restaurant was open continuously serving a special menu and also from the regular menu. I would definitely return.

I would have loved to have a toilet in my room. However, since it was right next door, it wasn't an issue. Overall, I was very happy with everything else.

Absolutely perfect accommodation in the center of Ascona. We could see the lake and the mountains directly from the room. The balcony was great too. Bathroom, room, equipment perfect. We will definitely be back.

Friendly and very flexible staff. Comfortable. While it’s not a luxury accommodation, it has everything that’s needed and it’s clean.

Room was a bit dark as the window was small, two power outlets didn’t work.

I love this place. Everyone here is very friendly and helpful. The food is exquisite and the location of this hotel is brilliant as it is as close to the square and a beach as possible. I had really good time staying here.

The location in town on the lake is amazing. You are literally above the restaurant but the rooms are quiet. Small rooms and small staircase to get there but the view and location is worth it.

Very good location beside the lake and the old town. We felt the beds were very comfortable and the room was clean. The restaurant on site has unique atmosphere and food was very tasty. The staff is friendly and helpful.
