The cockroaches...

Convenient location as it is next to BTS. The 2-bedroom unit is very big and spacious, which allow room for children to run around. The room is also quite clean and staffs are friendly. The gym is also huge and well-equipped.

Towards the end of our stay, there were tiny roaches that appear. But, it could be part and parcel of a service apartment. Anyway, there will be a pest control exercise coming up. Also, was hoping there could be more lights at the pool in the evening. It’s very dark.

Its very clean and staff are accommodating. The amenities too are accessible. Plus we can cook our own food pre heat our take away and all kitchen utensils are readily available and properly arranged.

Perhaps the dryer in the room could be cleaned a little more frequently

I like the staff hospitality, very accomodating and polite. I like the pool and atmosphere surrounding the hotel. The room was great with view of sky scrappers all over. I like the fact that it is not crowded as other hotel. The housekeeping was well maintained which i really appreciate.

The shuttle timing is not as frequent. I chose Ascott with the impression of having the shuttle to go certain places. To my dissappointment, it was not exactly as per what it was stated in the website. No information about the schedule of those predetermine places in the website and some places that were promise was no longer in the schedule. The walk way aisle along the room was very stuffy and hot.

These are what I like about Ascott: 1. Clean Room (Room was a bit outdated but it was not bad) 2. Nice Facilities such as Kids playroom, Fitness center, Laundry in the room and Pool 3. Very suitable for family with infant, toddler and older kids 4. Couple minutes walk to St.Louis BTS station (Skytrain) 5. Near 7-11 store (I love Thai 7-11) 6. Near local market, at about 10.30am-2pm, I walked to the local market about 5-10 mins walk from Ascott then turn right at the Empire Tower building corner, there are tons of delish Thai street foods and snacks. (Across the road there is another market too, but I had to walk to the narrow soi(street) to get there about 2 mins) The market will close on the weekend and holiday. 7. Nice view from my room (I could see the Chong Nonsi sky walk from the window :)) 8. Friendly people for example; the skinhead guy who helped us with luggages was friendly and he helped me find the place where to get the Thai soy milk. Thai soy milk is awesome).

Unlike a lot of other .. receptions they were accomodating friendly And stress free .

I think the food area is definitely time for A revamp especially considering the price Of accomodation..very dated and does not smell Clean .. food also needs improvement a lot .. To cater for westerners with some fresh options .. And a decent modern barista station .. Also this place reception does not reflect The quality of the rooms ..it does not smell fresh And decor is terrible not modern at all One star ⭐️ The staff reception especially are very good this hotel 🏨 has a great Culture .

Good location, spacious unit and clean.

The kids club was in a very poor and neglected state. Many toys were old and broken. The place looks like a total dump, the playmat is old, with missing alphabets and dirty. I felt so sad bringing my child here. This place has so much space and potential instead it’s just a sad, sad place I never want any kid to spend time in. Please maintain it for your youngest patrons and guests.

My husband and I stayed in a one bedroom apartment. The rooms & bathroom were huge. Kitchen was well stocked with crockery & utensils and the washing machine worked well. They also provide a drying rack upon request. Breakfast was at the poolside bistro and of decent quality. The bistro also makes excellent pizza & pasta - we had a few meals from the bistro delivered to our room. Location is excellent. Few mins walk to St Louis BTS. There is also an area with lovely upmarket cafes & restaurants across the main road. There’s a Tops supermarket in the Empire office building nearby and lots of affordable eateries within walking distance. Gym is the best I’ve ever encountered. Will be coming back to Ascott on future visits to Bangkok

Room was a bit dark so we had to use the lights during daytime. Mattress is quite firm so may be difficult for those who like soft beds.
