The Mulberry Bangkok Khaosan Road

Clean, small room with a big toilet. The rooftop pool was nice but no bar as advertised.

1000 baht deposit was paid which is fair enough. when we were leaving they said there was a stain on the pillowcase and would cost 200 baht for us to clean. the apparent stain was from ink they said but we have no form of ink with us. 200 baht was unreasonable and they did not even speak with us about it, only gave 800 baht back. very loud at night but to be expected as you are right on Khaosan road

The staff was very friendly and supportive. Worth for the value. The room was small but very comfortable and spacious enough for a solo traveler. The property is located within walking distance of many tourist attractions. Multiple food stalls outside.

Hotel was located on Koh San Road so we knew it may be noisy however this wasn’t a massive issue. Music wasn’t actually that loud and was still able to sleep. We arrived early morning due to our night bus and we were able to check in at 11am which was much appreciated. Staff were helpful and the hotel was clean. Beds were comfy and enjoyed use of the rooftop pool when wanted a relaxed afternoon.

There wasn’t much storage space in the room for our luggage and also the fridge wasn’t that cold. Asked reception to check the fridge but was told it’s normal after a technician looked at it however it kept everything room temperature rather then cooling it.

Great little hotel, rooms were beautiful, spotless, lovely bathroom, beds were amazing so comfy!! Rooms have everything in them including a little fridge bottles of water soap shampoo hairdryer TV air con. The pool on the roof is just the cherry on top the views are spectacular!! And pool towels. You are at one end of Kosan Road so jump out of the taxi and a few steps your in the door. It's as quiet as can be possible for the location the rooms have tiny windows and the hotel is built back into the building so it helps with the noise. Such good value as well

There is absolutely nothing I didn't like or could fault

A Beautiful clean modern new hotel. The beds and bedding were fantastic .. Right in the centre of koh san .. could hear a little of the bass from the 5th floor , but not enough to disturb our sleep

The staff at reception were so rude and unfriendly .. the large lady was very hostile .. completely ruins the hote! Rudely asked for the money straight up , no please thank you or smile .. Maybe petty but I think customer service is very impressive especially when you first step foot inside.

Honestly, it was the hospitality of the staff that exceeded our expectations. They attended to our every need. I would like to commend the two staff members we found at reception (June 9th 2023, around 17:00) , I didn't catch their names. Even though the hotel is situated on Khaosan Road, our room was soundproof so we managed to get good nights rest, every night.

you step out into khaosan road so anytime you need a bite to eat there’s food everywhere - street food / potato corner/711/ mcdonald’s. it’s very near keyp tourist spots like wat pho and grand palace. nice and comfy room.

got a culture shock when the staff that checked us in never smiled and had a surly expression. everytime we pass by them we greet them and smile but they just sideye 😂. the girls at the front desk early morning last june 2 were very nice though! so friendly, smiley and pleasant. would still recommend this place because it’s perfect!

first time to bankok didn’t quite realise where we were staying so a bit of a shock when we turned up on a busy nightlife area, we actually really enjoyed the atmosphere the hotel was a fab location right in the middle of it all , swimming pool was lovely just a really noisy air con device next to it , staff were lovely , and easy to get Tuktuk or taxi or walk to all areas of bankok . we could hear the nightlife till around 3 in the morning in our room as we were near the front of the building but we still managed to sleep .

The facilities were nice and modern and felt really clean. The room and bathroom were great and had a super comfortable bed. It's right in khaosan road so it's great for access to the bars, food stalls and markets.

Being on Khaosan road it is VERY loud at night until bars close, so it might not be the best if you're wanting an earlier night in. However, the building itself has good soundproofing so the music from the street isn't as loud as it could be. The staff were also not particularly warm or friendly and we did not feel uncomfortable asking questions or walking into the lobby.

I like the modern look and feel and obviously its well located for those who want to be in the buzz of Khoisan Road but overall its the value for money that the Mulberry offers that appealed to me.

I have stayed there before so I know the area but for first timers - the cab cant drop you in front of the hotel so you have a walk down Khoisan Road which, depending on the time you arrive, can be hectic with you luggage! Rooms are actually well insulated because you are right in the middle of the party and it goes on late so if you are a light sleeper, you may want to be a few roads back!
