Breakfast was served at our tent villa every morning. Rice porridge with chicken, eggs and hotdogs with bread. Basic but it was good.

It was difficult to go back and forth to chiang mai city, so I recommend staying here 1 or 2 nights and then moving closer to town for other activities

I have booked two queen rooms, one for two people and one for four people. Our tent for two was cozy and spacious enough to open our luggage. We had a bit of difficulty opening our luggage in the tent for four, as it was a bit cramped. Fortunately, we were provided with a table outside our tents so that we could keep our bags there. Each room was fully protected with mosquito nets, which helped a lot since there were many flying insects throughout the day and night. A small convenience store is located about ten minutes walk from our accommodation. They sell a range of cup noodles and snacks just in case you go hungry through the night. Located further down the mountain (15-20 minutes walk), you can find a cafe and a few eateries where you can enjoy authentic Thai mookata or Mama tom yum noodles. Breakfast was provided and it would be placed on the table outside your room during dawn. The meal was rather tasty and filling! The chicken porridge was well seasoned, and condiments were provided by the side to enhance the flavour. If you can't take the time to enjoy the porridge, hard-boiled eggs, sausages, and bread were served along with it.

It would be a better idea to book the superior single room or villa if you are staying with a large family. It's definitely more spacious and comfortable. Those who are afraid of insects should choose to stay in the villa because the toilets for the other 2 rooms are separate sheds, which tend to attract a large number of insects throughout the night. It is recommended to bring your own mosquito spray or coils or get them from the convenience store nearby. Upon arrival, I strongly urge travelers to check through the rooms and ensure that their toilet heaters are working. The temperatures in the mountains are noticeably colder, so we expected hot showers. However, the heater in one of the toilet was broken, which meant that six of us had to share one toilet, which was time-consuming. We discovered this issue in the wee hours and as travellers with language barriers, we were unable to contact the host to resolve in time. The area starts to get dim by 7 PM (GMT +7) and there are no street lights. I recommend traveling with a torch if you're walking around the area on foot. Despite the unobstructed views, they aren't as fascinating as those of the neighboring hotels. Considering that the site faces the North, it may not get the best sunrises and sunsets. Our main reason for staying in the mountains was to see the sunrise and sunset, but unfortunately, it rained on both occasions. Just a tip for travellers: I recommend that light sleepers bring ear plugs or sleep early the night before as the roosters begin to crow at 4 AM (GMT +7).
