Huge room, loved the bath. Staff so friendly . Place so clean. Food lovely, location good

Heard noise early morning , staff rooms or work on nearby property ? Plus lamp In main hallway shone through the curtain during the night. I used to get up to turn it off then turn it back on in the morning.

The staff were incredibly kind, helpful, courteous and professional. Always with a welcoming smile and ready to help. The property is clean and beautifully decorated. The room was huge and very comfortable. Although the door to my room was right by the stairs that sometimes creaked, I never heard any noise from other guests. A few simple breakfast options available but all very tasty. They were so kind to prepare sandwiches for me the mornings I was leaving earlier than breakfast started.

I spent most of my time inside the old city walls which was a 10 minute walk away and crossing a horrendously busy road. However, at least the guesthouse was away from all the constant traffic.

Rooms were very comfortable and clean. Good sized bathroom and facilities. Staff all very friendly and felt like a great location going into the Old City. Although I didn't get in the pool that looked like a great option for those super hot afternoons to cool down.

Although water pressure was great the waterfall style shower was over the bath with no shower curtain so water would literally go everywhere! And the bath had come away from the outflow pipe so the bathroom did get very, very wet the first time it was used. Easily fixed though.

Very quaint and lovely in typical Thai style. The photos presented are exactly the same. Our room with a 4-postered bed with canopy was wonderful. This room is big, old fashioned bathroom with tub, toilet, wash area, wooden closets with a safe, mini-bar and it is attached with a lanai type of terrace furnished with a day bed and a little garden for relaxation or meditation. The AC works splendidly as well as the wifi. There's free street parking opposite the hotel/guesthouse. No worries as the area is very safe. I left our rented car there everynight and nothing happened. There are several restaurants, coffee shops and bars nearby. For shopping, I advice you not to go to the main night market in the city centre as there is one closer called The Chiangmai Complex where the locals go and where prices are much more cheaper too! Hundreds of food stalls there, serving fantastic dishes.. I'd like to thank the owner who kindly had the suitcase of my friend Linda repaired after it was accidentally damaged by his staff. That was very considerate of him! Also on the day of our departure, since we had a very early flight, the kitchen prepared some sandwiches that we can take with us. Greatly appreciated!!! 🙏

Minor only but perhaps they can install one bright light in the room. Though dim light makes everything look dramatic but 1 bright light would be useful especially for women when putting make-up or when packing suitcases. The staff were wonderful, I just hope they can learn to speak English more..

The room was beautiful! It had a traditional, rustic vibe and it seems each room has a different theme. The bed was big and comfortable. The shower's pressure and temperature were good. The staff, Dang, was very kind and helpful, and always open for a chat. He recommended some places for us to see and helped book our day trip to the Elephant Sanctuary.

The bath tub drain seemed a little clogged, so water pooled during the shower.

This guesthouse is so charming and such a lucky find. The owners are super welcoming and generous and provide you with lots of local suggestions. I found the location to be perfect - right in between both Nimman and the old city yet super quiet with plenty of restaurants around it. I’m a seasoned visitor of Chiang Mai and would highly recommend this place to new travelers to the area. It will give you an authentic taste of what Chiang Mai is all about. Beautiful design, comfort, food and hospitality.

I thought there would be a bath in my room but there wasn’t. As all the rooms are unique and all photos displayed together, ask first to be sure!

Beautiful old house, very rugged. Our room was on the ground floor, but it was beautiful. It has its own private garden with a nice outdoor bed and a bench. Very nicely designed bathroom. Smiling and friendly staff, ready to help at any time. The pool next to the reception is pleasantly cold, very refreshing. Multiple breakfast options to choose from. The gate closes at night, very safe

There is only one drink choice at breakfast - you can't have coffee and juice

Verry friendly and helpfull staff. They helped with renting a bike and info about things to do. The hotel is cozy and well located. Many pleasent details inside to discover.

The pool is small and next to reception, so it is more to refresh yourself then hanging out all day at the pool. The bathroom could use an upgrade as there was some mold. Do not forget you have to take off your shoes always went entering the hotel. After 9pm you get the Keys to enter by yourself. So reception closed then. Breakfast is basic. Musquito in bed was good to have as there were some in the room. But all the things above did not bother us as it is an authentic hotel

Staff were super helpful with our travel itineraries, calling facilities to help with our plans and assisting in making new plans while staying at the Guesthouse, The breakfast featured local fruits and dishes - excellent and they even provided complimentary local fruit and snacks each day as well as complimentary cold drinks. Espresso in the AM was superb. Cannot say enough- our stay ( myself and husband) was excellent.

We loved the traditional decor of the guest House. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The bathing facilities needed repair as the bath taps were dripping. A shower curtain to contain the water so that the overhead shower facility would be recommended. Breakfast was limited, however I enjoyed the muscles bowl which I had most mornings.
