The rooms were really beautiful and clean, easy to use and had what we needed. The bed was really comfortable and the aircon and fan were fantastic! We loved our stay here, the staff were so accomodating. This accomodation is ideal for families and children.

No major issues ~ but I would say that I would prefer Thai style breakfast. One recommendation would be to just state on booking.com about the positioning of the rooms (private garden facing) or (pool facing) because it was really hard to figure this out online beforehand. We were in front of the pool and there are kids there all day.

Everything about this hotel is fantastic, they deserve all their positive reviews... I'd read a travellers blog that also rated this hotel and it didn't disappoint. The reception staff are super nice and accommodating, the rooms are beautiful, the photos don't do them justice. Breakfast is good, young girl cooking in the omelettes if the best, also friendly restaurant manager. Situated on the beach front, in a small bay. Plenty of bars, restaurants along the beach (this was difficult to see on google maps, and other reviews were mixed, but there's about 6-8 and a few ok to eat at. Few restaurants on the main room (2 mins walk). Yawee restaurant is fantastic ( 2nd on the left when you come out of the resort,) always busy and very cheap. We had motorbikes from the hotel, rather than hire from outside as they were brand new, accommodating staff regarding price etc (and you didn't have to leave your passport with them). Roads are fine, can be a bit chaotic, but really safe. Booked a 4 islands and emerald cave tour with the travel agent along the street which was good. More bars & restaurants on this main road, few mins by bike / tuktuk each way. Read somewhere the beaches are better north than south, but we visited a few and all are loverly. Lanta is such a nice laid back island.

Quite a lot of kids/babies, families in the hotel - not a major problem, but some families had obvioulsy been there for an extended stay and were quite a home there!... its such a nice laid back resort it does attract a lot of families. Also, just to be aware there are loads of rocks on the beach, be careful swimming.

This hotel was a slice of luxury on our backpacking trip. Rooms are spacious and you can leave the aircon/electric on whilst you arent in the room so that's great. Breakfast is really good, they make you fresh pancakes, omelette, Thai pancakes. They have a great selection of breakfast juices. They have a bell on the sunbeds to ring to order drinks from your sun lounger. Staff are all friendly. We had a problem with our door and it was fixed within half hour. Beach is absolutely gorgeous here and quite quiet. You MUST try the Yawee restaurant that is a 5 min walk from the hotel it is the best food we had in Thailand.

Apart from the breakfast, the food isn't as good as you'd expect from such a luxurious hotel. They give you 2 free bottles of water per day, but that isn't enough. After coming from a hotel in Railay where they had a freezing cold water dispenser, we were a bit disappointed. I asked the staff to fill up my bottle but it wasn't cold water. The cleaner also turned our air con off everytime she went and tidied our room. Don't allow us to use the aircon without the key card if you don't actually want people to use the aircon. We had it on so we could have a break from the heat. There is also lots and lots of kids in the pool. I understand its not adults only, so not a complaint just an observation but you couldn't relax around the pool. Just a few small downfalls but still rated our stay 10/10

This is a great property that is beachfront, it has its own bar and restaurant, a wonderful pool, and I love the little duplex cabanas with their own private front porch. All in all this is a great little resort, it just was pretty expensive for Thailand. But it does have AC!! They clean the room daily, but never seemed to leave enough toilet paper and we had to keep asking for an extra role. It would also be nice if staff served food and drink poolside, which they didn’t do. They had a beach barbecue the last night that we were there, and we decided to join for that and found it to be very expensive for what we received; we wanted fresh local fish, and it seemed it wasn’t too fresh. For one snapper, two shrimp, two potatoes, half size corn on the cob it was about $42 (very expensive for Thailand). In hindsight, we would’ve rather have gone to a different restaurant for much cheaper. This is a very nice resort overall and the sunsets were amazing, and we loved the breakfasts too. Staff are very nice, however, it felt like every time we went to breakfast, we were asked about five times by different staff What room number we were in after we had told them as we walked in.

We had to keep asking for more toilet paper. They didn’t have service at the pool. There is a school next door with events over a speaker every night from sundown to 10pm (sometimes later).

Beautiful small hotel right at the beach spacious rooms, extremely clean. Very nice stuff and good facilities. Scooters to rent at reception and SUP and surf boards for guests.

The restaurant at the hotel is not the best (although a lot of good places around) and the wall connecting two rooms in the villas are quite thin so it can get quite loud from neighbors.

Everything! The spacious rooms, fantastic pool and beach, the main restaurant and closines of other restaurants around. It was our second stay in this hotel, the first one was 4years ago (before covid) and absolutely nothing changed, the quality is maintained. I believe it is the best place at KohLanta.

Quiet, fairly secluded beach spot. Private bungalow style rooms. We had a premium room facing the pool and close to the restaurant. Perfect for a small family, with an outdoor seating area. I was surprised to see the hotel so busy given its low season. Family friendly hotel. Private beach. A few beach shacks offering food and drinks (well worth trying and cheaper than the hotel restaurant). We had a lovely 5 day stay and would certainly come back.

Hotel Reviews Casa Lanta (Late October OUTSIDE the of CONTROL of the hotel- beware- the waves are rough and powerful. We took a day trip snorkelling - (speedboat) we had awful weather, a horrendous boat trip out and back - we were all petrified, children and adults alike. And whilst the islands are beautiful, the rain really got in the way of what otherwise would have been a beautiful day trip. Breakfast could really do with more options. And the hotel really needs to invest in more sun loungers. Tips - all the rooms are the same, the difference in price is the location and proximity to the beach. The rooms are not beach facing.

Nice beachfront hotel with a great pool area and amazing rooms! Location was also good - you can walk to the main street to grab food easily.

They could add some vegan options on breakfast menu.

This is all I like in a beach hotel. It is not a massive building the one story rooms are scattered through the property. It is not huge not your type if you are looking for various fancy restaurants and spas and other amenities. It is simple but very well maintained. The rooms are super nice and clean. There is only one open restaurant where you can see the ocean and hear the waves. And the food is super tasty and decently priced. Similarly the spa is an outdoors palapa. Good massages at reasonable prices. The pool is clean and inviting. The sunsets are amazing. And the staff are really lovely.

Unfortunately the beach gets a lot of plastic rubbish deposited from the ocean. Every morning the beach is littered with dozens of bottles and other plastic debris. My girls and I did a rubbish pick up 3 of the days we were there and filled 3 large rubbish bags each time. It is not the fault of the hotel. Thailand has a huge issue with plastic ocean pollution. It did detract from my enjoyment of the beach.
