I absolutely loved my stay here. All the staff are so friendly and helpful, in particular Nong, who is not only a great hotel owner but a lovely person as well. The room was cleaned properly whenever I needed, the laundry service, although not the cheapest option in Samui, is good value for money as everything came back in under 24 hours cleaned, dried, ironed, and folded (more effort than I would ever put in when cleaning my own clothes). Upon arrival, Nong gave me a list of her favorite/popular restaurants along Lamai road and immediately made me feel so welcome. The location is super ideal, right in the heart of the Lamai area but also tucked out of the way so there was no noise at all. Very easy access to the beach from multiple points and close to numerous restaurants and bars. If looking to train Muay Thai, the hotel is a straight line walk of around 10 minutes to WMC Lamai Muay Thai gym and the balconies provided with the hotel rooms are ideal for airing out boxing gloves and shinnies that aren't welcome in the room! I highly recommend staying here, was perfect for my stay, and would 100% come back.

The wifi is quite dodgy (might also be because of the thunderstorms during rainy season) but I was here long term so had unlinmited data on a Thai sim card so didn't bother me too much.

The staff was absolutely incredible and made our entire stay! It seems like a small family run business, we were greeted by our names every time we went in and out, asked about our day, which was really nice. The location is about 5 minute walk from a stunning beach, short walks to shops, night market, bars etc. Good sized rooms were cleaned and restocked every day. Facilities were a bit basic but it's exactly what you would expect for the price.

The only slight issue we had was that there was a slight odour in the sofa in our room that seems like they couldn't get rid of and we occasionally had to deal with small ants in the room even with no food being in there, but it was nothing too disturbing.

One of the best Booking experience so far! I am travelling on a low budget and unfortunately needed to change my accomodation in the last minute due to some unpleasant reasons. I decided to book Bonny hotel based on good reviews and it totally exceeded my expectations. The most important thing for me is cleanliness and I can give this hotel 10/10 for making me feel so comfortable! Furtniture is a bit older but it doesnt change the fact that there was everything I needed and what was most important for me - bed and pillows were really comfy. Owner is extremely nice and kind, I would like to thank her for making me feel good, safe and like at home. Location was perfect, three steps from the main street but still in a quite part, so I didnt hear the noise from the street at all. And another bonus, Lamai beach was lovely, so far my fav for longer stay in Thailand. I will definitely come back for a longer time, not only 2 weeks. See you soon!

Clean, spacious en-suite bedrooms, great location right off the main area in Lamai with lots of restaurants and bars within a short walk. Short walk to a beautiful beach with beach restaurants and bars. Very friendly and helpful owner.

Great location in the center of Lamai but quiet and peaceful. We liked the old school vibe at the hotel. There was no problem with renting a scooter or doing laundry. Air condition was working perfectly. The room was clean, new towels and water every day. Lady at the front desk is gold - always smiling and having a chat with you. Also there is nothing impossible for her, just ask ☺️

Only 2 working electric outlets but it’s not a huge problem.

We recently stayed here and really enjoyed our stay, it’s in the centre of lamai and is within walking distance of everything in the area. The staff are the heart of this place, they are more than helpful and really make you feel comfortable. The rooms are cleaned every day and 2 water bottles are put in the room too, the rooms are a bit outdated but you can tell that the staff make the best of what they have.

The only downfall was the construction going on across the road, drilling ect. Started at 9am but that’s completely out of the control of the hotel so we didn’t complain but would just take into account that you can hear a lot going on outside

The host welcomed us and was very accommodating! She gave us a list of everything nearby, the restaurants, the markets, the shops, timings, beach, water sports etc, without us having to ask about them! She even gave us directions and recommendations to some really good places nearby. Always cheerful, interacting with her was always a highlight of our day! The room was very clean , and this hotel is situated in the heart of lamai street so it's close to everything going on in Lamai. Overall, would definitely recommend this to everyone visiting Lamai!

Had such a lovely stay at Bonny hotel that we extended our stay twice. The women running the hotel were so friendly and accommodating and helped us to organise our transfer to Koh Tao. The location was perfect; right near all the restaurants and bars and a 3 min walk to Lamai beach which is lovely. The room was clean and spacious with good air con and a fridge which is always helpful. would definitely stay here again if we ever come back. They also provide a top quality and well-priced laundry service that we definitely recommend. thank you

This Hotel greatly exceeded my expectations despite its already high ratings. The owner was very helpful with any questions we had and was available to help book any excursions, bike rentals and taxis. The hotel was exceptionally clean. Every day the beds were made up with a beautiful towel display on the bed. The location was absolutely perfect, with the beach literally 2 minutes walk away. The main streets for the bars and nightlife of lamai was only 5 minutes away, and 5 minutes walk in the other direction takes you to the local night market. If you plan to spend some time in Lamai and explore the small town this location is perfect, and you dont really need to rent a bike or use any form of transport unless you plan to travel further to somewhere such as Chaweng.

I would say the only negative thing about this place was the internet was intermittent. I found this to be the case in most places I stayed in Koh Samui.

Great location, close to the beach and close to all the shops and restaurants. But still away from all the noise from the street. Mrs. Nong and all the staff are amazing and will do anything for you. The remember everybody by name, they make you feel at home! You can rent a bike, do your laundry and also book excursions if you like. The place is not modern but it has all you need! Refrigerator, closet, desk, cold and hot shower and is is super clean!

What I missed was maybe a place to meet (or work) with other people from the hotel. There is a reception but no common place to meet other travellers or have a coffee or drink.
