This resort is suitable for those who enjoy activities. We can go snorkeling and encounter a variety of fish and crabs from the sea in front of the resort. Another activity I enjoyed was kayaking to Nangyuan Island on my own. It took me about 20 minutes to paddle, but the staff mentioned that kayaking is only allowed on days with calm waves. Additionally, we hiked up the hill following the resort's trail to enjoy the view from the high vantage point, and I think the upper viewpoint is absolutely stunning.

You don’t stay here to be walking distance to the main part of Koh Tao, however only a short (5 minute drive away). The views here are outstanding, looking directly out at Nang Yuan. We stayed at the very top and despite being a steep walk, it’s not all bad. The staff were very helpful for organising motorbikes and any trips needed (the hotel has a boat service directly to Nang Yuan). The staff were also able to accomodate our request to move room due to excessively noisey neighbours. The breakfast was great and had some of the better cooked Thai options I’ve had on this trip.

We initially stayed in the recently renovated rooms at the top. Similar to other reviews, you can tell these have not been done to the highest quality to warrant the price. The walls were also quite thin and you could hear guests in the room next door, if they were loud. The chalets were also relatively dated with the bathrooms needing some upgrade to warrant the price.

Still one of the best in koh tao. The hotel just reopened few weeks. Frankly, something isn't perfect yet ,but not a big deal. The view is superb like a picture. Friendly staff. I really recommend this place. The restaurant also really good.

You could not be any closer to Koh Nang Yuan, the hotel itself had a sectioned off area for snorkelling at the base of the mount it is set into. The best snorkelling I have done! Hotel also has taxi boat to transport guests across to Koh Nang Yuan. Cocktails were lovely. View was amazing.

Pool was very run down, broken tiles and another hotel guest cut himself on it. It looks tired and needs a bit of a facelift, but the hotels access to where we wanted to be (the water) made up for it as we only really went back to our room to sleep. The Staff for the most part didn't look like they wanted to help you apart from one great waiter we had on the last day and the reception lady. They didn't even want to give out beach towels to use at the pool, so recommend you take your own. Also if you don't like stairs and steep hills, stay closer to the marina - this place was steep and you definitely got a workout walking back to your room.

This resort is a wonderful escape. Great location, comfy rooms, awesome facilities, and friendly staff. Loved my stay.

The rooms were a great size, great balcony, and lovely breakfast. Fabulous pool with a view and nice cocktails while watching the sunset

To far out of town, had a shuttle service, but it just wasn't regular enough. My suggestion in and out every hour would be great

Stunning view!!! The resort was the best part of our vacation, staff are super helpful. The room is spacious and clean. Moreover, we can enjoy the view of Nangyuan Island from our room balcony. My favorite part of this stay is that we can go kayaking to Nangyuan Island and also go snorkeling to see the sea life from the resort.

The resort is very dark at night, and the entrance is quite steep.

The staffs were very friendly and helpful. The property is a bit old but cozy. The best thing was Seaview the view was unbelievable. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner at the restaurant, the food was good and delicious with average price I'm not saying this was the best in the island ,but you definitely can spend whole day in the property. We also rolled the kayak to nangyuan.

Everything! The rooms, views of Nangyuan at breakfast, sunset and dinner, the staff, the food. One particularly good thing is the snorkelling reef accessible from the hotel, there's a great abundance of fish and small corals. The staff were just amazing, from organising our room changes (late request from me) to making our 30th wedding anniversary so special. We loved our stay here.

Two minor things for us but I feel others need to know before they book: the hotel is quite a distance from Sairee (that's also a selling point) and other places and although they have a free shuttle if you want to go anywhere you either need to call in a taxi or have a scooter. We hired a scooter from Mae Haad. The other thing is (and its obvious from the photos) but there's a lot of steps, so please make sure you're ok with this.

We took a delux room sea view and had an amazing king size bed for each of us. Had amazing view to the twin islands and the swimming pool. The staff at the breakfast was kind, the welcoming was warm and the overall services were satisfing. We enjoyed a happy hour at the pool and a taxi boat ride to the island. We had a scooter and therefore the secluded location was appropriate for us to enjoy the peace and quiet. Highly recommended.

On our visit the hotel participated in an eco movement to help the island so between the hours 12 to 15 there was no electricity in the room. But it didn't disturb us and the had electricity in the reception if we needed something.
