That is a secret for those who hate steep cliffs, rock climbing, outdoor fitness, yoga and meditation, spicy Thai food, a-lot of stairs, rocky (beach) pier, water. Driving a motorbike. Having nothing to after 8 o’clock at the resort. If you do not love all I mentioned just stay away! But for those who love adventures and love my description. Get your ass over here and book a week. 🤗

Too much magic

the views and organisation on the staff’s behalf is amazing. We got picked up from the Pier, taken to reception to pay and then driven to our accommodation. the man carried our luggage and was very lovely. The moped that we hired brakes stopped working and he drove out and bought us a new scooter, no problem. Even made sure someone was available to take us back to the pier for departure. highly recommend. the views are incredible. I’m from Australia and I was even a bit scared of the lizards but so worth it. don’t forget mosquito spray

Can’t really Fault it.

The view is absolutely stunning, the photos don’t lie. It might depend on the bungalow though. I suggest waking early to enjoy the sunrise. The location is also great if you like something a bit remote, because it’s quiet. This means a small scooter ride in the jungle, but personally I love it. Room and bathroom were clean and in good shape. Geckos can come and visit the bathroom but the host warned us about this, and they don’t come in the bedroom if you keep the door close as instructed. Also they’re harmless and kind of cute imo, but if you’re afraid of animals maybe that’s not the place for you. There are occasional ants, tamias, birds and crabs in the area.

There was no hanging device so you have to be creative for your towels and wet clothes. The scooter they rented to us didn’t have a license plate. That wasn’t an issue because we didn’t get arrested, but it would bring some piece of mind to have one. 99% of the scooters in Koh Tao have a license plate. Bed was a little hard, like most beds in Thailand. My partner got sick after eating at the restaurant, but I didn’t, so not sure how responsible the food was

Moondance Magic View is on the east of the island and the team provide pick up and drop off from the pier - this was helpful as we would not of been able to initially navigate to the location. Does have beautiful sun rises and a lovely view. Upgraded on arrival - the room we were upgraded to looked like the bigger room in the pictures - the initial room was a lot smaller and older style - the upgrade made the stay. We hired one of their bikes and this made it possible to get around the island - was a great location - very quiet and secluded. Would stay again in the upgraded room.

Our room was not cleaned during our stay - maybe we needed to ask to have this service. Must remember to get water before returning each day, water was not provided.

Amazing view and lovely bungalow, but the bungalow didn't have curtains, so people in the bungalow next to it were able to look inside ours.

What a terrific place! The seaview from the balcony is simply breathtaking. The whole resort is magical. You spot many details around the resort that are built with attention to detail and in harmony with the surroundings of the jungle. It's remoteness gives you privacy and a great opportunity to reconnect with nature. We observed the squirrels and the thunderstorm passing by from the room and even though it was raining mostly the place was ideal to just lean back and witness this magical show in all cozyness.

Some things weren't working in our place like the fan and the outside light. Also the hammock was a bit risky with some ripped ropes.The drain of the bathroom got clocked so the bathroom ended up being under water. However, the host was very helpful and could be reached at all time. We were offered to change rooms but we eventually didn't make use of it. The room doesn't offer a mosquito net which is a bit tricky in the jungle. We made do without it by getting a plug in mosquito repellent from 7/11.

Unreal location if you are seeking tranquil and isolation. You’ll have a private porch and a wooden treehouse sort of room, between forests facing the sea side. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and this place has all around one of the best views from within the property

I had booked the sea facing bungalow but my view was blocked with another bungalow (got super unlucky)- was just disappointed as I wanted to book it based on the picture I saw of the open sea. Reception/dinner is far away. And the glass door has no curtain.

The location is marvelous: in the tropic mountains with an amazing view when you eat something at the rocky and natural terrace. For people who like climbing a little you can also have a very nice smokkel experience on the bottom of the rocks.

It is a very natural environment. There are a lot of interesting animals around ;-). We loved it. Also the bungalows are spread out over the rocky region. You have to walk a little up and down. So if you want something more comfortable, you might not choose this place.

amazing view with the sun rise quiet peaceful location Veyr helpful staff. we asked if we could have some hot water from the flask at the reception for our cup noodles, but the owner was very kind and delivered a brand new kettle to our room, so we can have some hot water conveniently

The lights in the room was quite dim. this is just 2 points to note, not tat I didn't like it: (1)one has to climb quite a few steps to reach your accommodation. but the staff will help with the carrying of the luggage (2) the fridge in the room will turn off when u take your key card out, so don't store anything that spoils easily

The view was amazing. Everyone was very friendly. The breakfast is basic but the view is stunning.

The irregular steps to get to the bungalow were excessive and unexpected. From the lobby to my room was at least 100 stairs, plus a walk on the road. Getting large luggage in and out was not pleasant. The bed was very, very firm. This resort is on the opposite side of the island from any restaurants or nightlife so getting a late night snack is basically impossible and they don't allow any cooking in the rooms.
