Really nice place, good vibe, attentive staff, beautiful garden, cool hammock. The Beach is beautiful, clean, great for snorkelling and overall very cozy. Open air shower in our bungalow was very cool! Nice breakfast. The place is very quiet and peaceful. We spent 5 nights here and we had a great time. Would come again!

- Mattress is a bit hard and smells bad - old AC (noisy and not cold enough at times) - breakfast could have more variety (but it’s ok because it’s free and you can buy something else from the main menu) - some people occupy the hammock with towels and personal things for prolonged time. It doesn’t feel right.

the resort is absolutely lovely and the garden is just gorgeous! really nice and relaxing! breakfast area is also an absolute gem as it’s right at the beach and you can order as much as you want from their menu.

the rooms were a bit run down and definitely need a make over - please keep the old school Thai style!!!! however the rooms are clean, great shower and bed is comfortable!

Promtsuk Buri is one of four places located at Silver Beach. This is a lovely beach to hang out and feel safe in the water. There are some rocks but they are easily navigated. It was the best beach we visited. The staff tidy up the beach each morning. This area is close enough for Lamai and Chaweng but also far enough away. The room was good and looked after daily. The breakfast was good and lovely to sit by the beach in the morning when it’s quiet. I think this hotel was the best looked after of the places at Silver Beach. The staff were great. Excellent value for what we wanted.

Buy some fly spray for the room at the 7/11. The bathroom is open and the mosquitoes will get in.

The location of this property is fantastic. You are on the beach but on the same time you have the feeling that you are in the jungle.. The landscape design of the external areas was a pole of attraction for many birds, and frogs. Nothing better than relaxing on the terrace or taking a shower with the sounds of nature. The bungalow is really beautiful and the room comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful.

The only disappointing thing was the breakfast. You only get to choose one small plate with tiny portions of food. I advise you to book the room without breakfast and then you get to choose from a different menu at the hotel restaurant that offers more and costs you less.

It was really magical staying at this resort purely for the beach it is set on- waking up for the sunrise and spending time on the beach on our own before the crowds came was the highlight of our trip to Samui. The resort itself is beautiful with lovely green grounds and style. The rooms were a little tired but for the price they did the job. The outside shower/toilet was novel but we did feel changed the dynamic a little as you have to be conscious of mosquitos and other insects when using (we tried to avoid dusk and dawn showers). The included breakfast was simple, but paid food at the restaurant was really tasty and well priced.

The air conditioning in our room looked old and didn’t really work very well at all. We also felt perhaps there could be more done about mosquitos such as incense etc. the outdoor toilet and bad air con meant we weren’t 100% comfortable, but for the price and the beach it is worth a stay!

We booked this property because we like small boutique hotels, the location by the beach and we were looking for peace and quiet. Hotel grounds beautifully kept with lovely gardens and lush green all around and birds singing in the morning (watch out for the mozzies though!) We slept fairly comfortably although some may find the bed a little hard. Room has adequate facilities and you get a top up of bottled water daily. The TV comes equipped with Netflix too and air con works well. Bathroom/toilet is outside but we didn't mind this. Staff that we encountered were nice enough. Breakfast is ok but very heavy on western options (only 1 Thai dish offered) but we actually enjoy eating Thai dishes so actually went out to find our own street food breakfast. During our stay, some afternoons and evenings you could hear a lot of music and the beach area in front of the hotel was very crowded owing to the fact it's a public beach so anyone could access it and we noticed people were coming through the hotel grounds to get to and from the beach.

Lovely stay af Promtsuk Buri, we had a babycot at the room and still had some space. The bathroom has a very nice shower a little downside is that it is open so you have a lot of mosquito. The breakfast is oké, very simple but not that expensive as well. The massage ladies on the beach are friendly and professional. Rooms are close to the beach, but what we missed were some sunbeds (included the hotel service)

The open bathroom is for us not a very added value, it is Just a small opening and the con’s outway the pro’s.

Promptsuk Buri was like heaven on earth. We flew from Ireland, and have never seen such beauty when staying anywhere before. The gardens, rooms, and beaches are breath taking, we had such a fabulous stay here. The staff alongside were super friendly, as well as the masseuses that are located on the beach a few second walk from the room. We felt super relaxed and well taken care of. The on-site restaurant/ bar was amazing for food and drinks, we enjoyed our coffee and breakfast here each morning, the menu is AMAZING! Great spot for snorkelling and early morning paddle boarding. The outdoor shower in the bungalow is incredible I may add, we were so sad to say goodbye to it.

The bed was incredibly hard and we were waking up very early each day with sore backs which was so disappointing. Although we were sad to leave the resort, we were excited to move on to a softer bed. We really loved the outdoor shower area but it was a bit off putting using the toilet outside when you have people sitting on the balcony other side listening and staff walking around the bungalow. The frosted glass between the bedroom and outdoor toilet could be a bit more opaque so you can’t see anyone using through. Also a lot of bags of rubbish outside our windows which was a bit of an eye sore when trying to let some light in.

The staff at Promtsuk Buri are absolute stars, going the extra mile in being helpful, friendly and providing a personal service. We got the beachfront villa and it was spectacular in that you simply open the door and you're on the beach! The beach was superb, can get crowded as people from other places come for a day there (because it's so beautiful). The property itself has excellent WiFi and even a great TV with Netflix. We loved the open-air bathroom. The location is very nice with a few restaurant options outside of the property, 7/11 and Family Mart a short walking distance. We would definitely return, thanks to all the lovely staff members!

There could be a number of mosquitoes, but that's an issue every place has. Just get some repellent and you'll be fine.

Amasing location right next to the beach, with lovely bungalows, comfortable beds, very cosy bathroom which is outside the bungalow but attached to it and where you can see the sky and palm trees while having a shower. Breakfast was delicious, with seeview, which was one of our preferences. The Christal bay is one of the best beaches in Samui, with christal clear water. We loved Promtsuk Buri so much that we asked for 2 more nights to reserve, unfortunately it was fully booked already. You should book it on time!
