Kalm pai was a holiday in itself. The bed was so so so comfortable. After 5 weeks of broken / uncomfortable sleeps I finally felt rested! Aircon was so good; bathrooms were sufficient, and the spa bath was lovely. Our was host was lovely, and tried very hard to make sure we had an enjoyable stay. It is a rustic resort, so don’t expect anything too fancy.

While the facility was restful and quiet, this is mostly due to being remote which I can’t look passed. It costs 200b to get into the city via tax, so expect a good 400b per day added to the cost of staying here. There is limited/no food nearby and no cooking facilities so the reality is you need to go into the town each day if you want to eat. It would be good to have a deal with taxi company to bring the price down or coordinate all guests to lower the price. The listing is very clear about its location so I don’t feel surprised, it’s just worth very much taking into consideration.

The unit was clean and comfortable. The grounds are very nice. Ample parking is available. The staff were friendly and pleasant. I had no issues with any aspect of my stay. As stated below, I have low expectations for breakfast.

Breakfast was typically Thai. Prepared at the beginning of breakfast time then left to go cold. I tried it the first morning, then ate at one of the numerous breakfast places in town. Most of the places I have stayed at in Thailand do not provide a decent breakfast. The location was wrong for this trip. I was meeting up with friends in town daily, meaning my options were to drink and drive or not drink at all. I would recommend this place if you want to explore the surrounding countryside and have a quiet break. If you will be joining the night life in Pai, book somewhere in town.

- incredibly peaceful - friendly owner - lovely terraces on the bungalows to chill on - free breakfast until 11am - effective fly sheets over all windows and door so can leave them open to let light and airflow in

- would be fantastic to have a hammock on the bungalow terrace, and cushions for the chairs to make it all extra relaxing/ comfortable - the fan wasn't super powerful and wasn't freestanding in order to put right by bed but it actually wasn't too warm if you opened all the windows/ doors at sunset and put the fan on to cool the place down

Loved everything about this place The friendly & helpful staff, the cute cuddly resident cat, dogs & puppies, the amazing hot tub with the sunset view of the padi fields and the entire property. Breakfast was simple, but sufficient and they have coffee available (self service) 24/7 as well as a water dispenser

There isn't anything to not like. But you need to rent a scooter to get around as it's 10km away from the town. But it was perfect for us

Staff was very friendly. Lovely location away from town, best if you want a peaceful stay and if you can drive a motorbike. Super sweet cat made our stay more magical. Hot/cold tub was so tranquil, though they should have cleaned it and ran the water first because we had to spend an hour running the sulfur/yellow water. It was still amazing though. So peaceful and empty thanks to low-season and because it’s surrounded by farms. Breakfast is free/included in price.

Gorgeous view of gardens, rice field and mountains. The property has some cows and chickens that roam around during the day which I found very peaceful. Deluxe Double with Bath was gorgeous, comfortable and clean. I absolutely loved being able to take a warm private outdoor bath each night! The property is very serene with a tropical garden paradise vibe. I was able to enjoy a day of pure relaxation, reading, yoga (on my own) and journaling without being distracted. Best sleep I've had my whole trip as well because the bed is insanely comfortable! They provide you a WhatsApp number to ask the owner questions and gets you immediate, friendly service.

Location is a 15 minute drive from Pai walking street and costs 200tbh to cab. If you don't mind paying or have experience riding a motorbike then this place is definitely somewhere to enjoy for at least a couple nights. Breakfast is included but not the greatest. Unfortunately there isn't a restaurant so you have to go to the city for food.

The hot tub was amazing !! we booked deluxe bungalow and it was divine, amazing view of sunset from our hot tub. Beds super comfy. a/c made the room temp nice and warm when turned up !! The people were very friendly and it was very quiet and peaceful.

Breakfast was ok. I do believe that for the price it should be more catering for vegetarians. However we were still eating simple hot breakfasts (eggs / rice soup / fried rice) The tea / coffee station does not include any fresh milk so if you prefer to have milk in your tea / coffee and not use the milk powder provided bring your own and keep it in your fridge in your room. Also the place was a little far out from town ..but if you have a motorbike its fine, otherwise do not book here as you are too far out from town.

If you want to get rest after a long day in the city, this place might be something for you. Kalm Pai is a beautiful and green accommodation about 15 minutes away from Pai by scooter. The bungalows include everything you need and the view is very peaceful. Beds are super comfortable.

Shampoo or (hand)soap in the bathroom would have been great. Luckily I brought my own for this trip. That's only thing I can say.

The location is spectacular and the staff are lovely. Keep in mind it is outside of Pai so you will need to rent a scooter - you can do this at the property. The breakfast is limited but very tasty!

There is no AC but the temperatures in Pai at night are bearable, you don’t even need the fan. The only downside is that it’s hard to find somewhere to eat dinner, it all closes super early.

The tranquility of the location. Tucked off the main road to Pai. Surrounded by countryside in a simple wooden lodge. Nothing was too much trouble for Phi the manager there. Could hire scooters directly from her at 200 Baht per day. She also done a bag of washing for us for 50 Baht.

We could of done with a blanket as well as the summer duvet at night. Not quite warm enough.
