Great and friendly staff, beautiful and tranquil location, worthy cause. Room was spotlessly clean and well appointed, dinner was excellent as was breakfast. It is a bit isolated, but for us, that was part of the charm.

Breakfast was ok and the room was exceptional, one of the best I have ever stayed in. Peaceful and tranquil.

WiFi disconnects. The property is isolated so you are dependant on the hotel for food. The restaurant closes at 7pm and orders for food must be in by 4pm. I thought this bizarre. Saw two young elephants only.

Sappraiwan Resort seems to have suffered more than most over COVID and lacks maintenance which would bring it up more. The elephants at the cafe were great and we had previously visited them for feeding in the morning on another occasion which you could also do. Cafe itself was also fine and comfortable. Imaginative dinosaur scale models for the kids to play on was interesting. The chalet itself was only OK, WIFI was quite good and the food we had delivered to the room was pretty good also. Generally quiet and relaxing in a forest setting.

Place needs maintenance all over but it seems they are well aware of that. Would have been quite a great place back in the day. Hot breakfast items were all cold by the time we got there. Crazy amount of leaf litter all around - stay on the paths!

Room was OK

Hotel felt incredibly run down. Main building could be grand but was deserted and dirty. We could not use the pool as it was really dirty and the pool area was green. All the paths and buildings were also dirty and slippy, leaves that had not been swept/ algae etc. Breakfast in the ‘restaurant’ was dire. Restaurant was unwelcoming and scruffy. American breakfast was very poor with cold eggs. Very glad we didn’t eat there the night before. Restaurant food had to be ordered at 1700 and restaurant closed at 1900. Our meal out was great. No information from staff about elephant activities. No mention of them when we checked in. They only come to the cafe at certain times and certain days. This wasn’t explained. Cafe is at the entrance to the restaurant resort (about 1km walk from our room). Think staff would have picked you up but we walked. Cafe is OK but only western food, we have a pizza as we were starving!
