Exceptional location, right on the beach in a lovely bay. Room was spartan (no wardrobe, desk, luggage stand) and there were no toiletries, not even a hand soap in the bathroom and the Cable TV basically did not work but the exceptional location made up for it. The bay is secluded but there are plenty of restaurants and bars nearby within easy walking distance. The adjacent restaurant is upmarket and serves great cocktails and good food (at a price).

Staff seemed to lack motivation/confidence (need more training I think). The Saturday disco music from midday to 10 pm right next to the bungalow is unacceptable and should be moved to the other side of the bar/restaurant. People come for peace and quiet and not an assault of "thump, thump, thump" for a full ten hours.

Fantastic location on a beautiful little bay. Easy walk to the Samed Villa where my friends were staying. Waking up to the sound of waves breaking on the soft white sand yards from my bungalow window. Consistently good food and drinks at the on-site Reef Bar and restaurant. superb swimming beach.

Bed a bit hard. Wish they did food before noon. You could specialise in coffee, smoothies, simple Thai breakfasts like Khao Tom, patongo, fruits, fried chicken, moo ping, som tum. There are fortunately locals selling some of those things on the beach from mid morning.

The location was great, beach front with your own little veranda overlooking the beach and ocean. The beach was absolutely beautiful. Shallow clear water, soft sand and lots of places to relax. Nice restaurant at the hotel and great breakfast, recommend to get the breakfast.

The villa lacked a bit of privacy as the main walkway to the hotel restaurant (Tamarind hotel - blue bay is part of tamarind) was right in front of the villa. The villa itself was basic, needs a touch up inside to make it a bit more comfortable, but it has everything you need. Not luxurious.

Spacious room, friendly, super kind and welcoming staff. It was very nice to enjoy the allocated sun beds and to be able to go and swim to the sea in a minute! The food was quite good, high quality cocktails not to be missed in their little speakeasy attached to the restaurant. Every evening there was a bit of animations with fire lights, very fun to watch. The venue looked classy, very happy with my choice, this is also I think to best beach to stay at when in Ko Samet.

The price of the breakfast buffet was very high for Thailand, but luckily it was delicious. Didn't like to see people walking t in front of my window (they couldn't see me though as their window are reflective) as I was facing the sea; but that said it was empty and nice at night. I wish I had a little desk in my room.

Dom's cocktails and Reef Restaurant were amazing, location and beach perfect!

The girl receptionist wasn't kind at all (the one with glasses) We accidentaly broke a glass and the hotel charged us 4 euros for that! Never seen something like that from an hotel! If they aim to be an elegant place, I suggest more charme with customers. What annoyed a bit is the continuous pressure for letting you spend money (not finished your cocktail yet and Waiters press you for another one, at the restaurant the same...calm down and let customer relax!)

I stayed in the budget room, which had all the space, comfort and facilities of the expensive rooms but was further from the beach...by about 30 metres. It was also more private because there was no foot traffic. I really enjoyed my two nights here. There are many lounges around the bar area....you can stay completely shaded whilst gazing out to sea. The bar is just metres away. The drinks are slightly more expensive than other places but still reasonable, except the cocktails which I thought were too expensive. The water was very clear and free of pollution....so much better than on previous visits. They do not serve food but a very good beachside restaurant is just around the headland....five minute walk. There is also a minimart down that way. Midmorning a woman arrived on the beach with her kitchen on her back. She cooked me grilled chicken with fresh papaya salad for 120baht. It was delicious. I slept in a very comfortable king size bed. I had tea/instant coffee and a jug. I had a refrigerator and a hot shower. Everything was spotlessly clean. The staff were professional and helpful. I have travelled through Asia for more than 40 years now, always staying in more budget style accommodation. This place is a standout!

Everything was good or better. I like to walk, even in the heat. So the 2.5km walk from the ferry was part of the fun for me. Otherwise, catch a taxi.

The location of our cabine was perfect. the resort is just at the beach and waking up with the sea and the sun is just perfect. The staff is really helpful. During our stay they were undergoing some construction and before the we confirmed the booking they suggested we first took a look. It was just perfect. We never stay too long at a house so we didn’t have any problems. Koh Samet is small and pretty much all beaches are connected so explore they island!

perfect location, 10 metres to the beach, clean, large room, sea view, gorgeous beach, all facilities available and for affordable price- sup, kayak. Friendly and attentive staff, the beach bar is amazing.

there is a construction going right now (it’s is actually said on booking, so we expected it). If you wake up early - no problems, if you like to sleep late - it can cause discomfort.

The bungalow was clean and spacious. The bed was really big and comfortable. We loved the location the beach was amazing and their restaurant Reef was superior. I would definetly come here again.

Beautiful location, comfortable beds, and affordable price... one of the best things about Samet is the distance to BKK, and the abundance of beaches/resorts for swimming/snorkeling and chilling. Having stayed at 2 different resorts last year, this was a far better experience in terms of price, location and comfort of the rooms Will bookmark and likely comeback in the future.
