Because we wanted to go to Thailand's National Park and then to Koh Samui, we decided to spend 3 days exploring Sura Thani. We stayed here for three nights and had a great stay. The accommodation is next to the school and the 7-Eleven is just around the corner. The hostess is very nice and speaks good English. We felt at home straight away. Our room had air conditioning with a balcony and a bathroom. Everything was very clean and bright. Every morning there are bananas, toast, tea and coffee for free, which was very practical to start the day. We are considering coming back to Papangkorn House because the city is a good stop to avoid long bus rides and to relax more.

Actually nothing, the accommodation promises what you booked.

This place was amazing. I initially stayed for one night, prior to having some surgery in nearby Thaksin hospital. The room was very clean and comfortable, so I decided to book some additional nights for after I would be discharged from hospital (as I did not want to travel back to my home on Koh Phangan directly post-surgery). When I booked the extra nights, I requested a room on the ground floor and some additional pillows for support. On the day I was scheduled to be discharged, the hotel manager messaged to say she had given me a room closest to the reception desk, in case I needed some assistance post-surgery. She also sent a picture of the bed she had prepared with lots of extra pillows. This was so thoughtful and I really appreciated the kindness and effort. In addition to my personal experience with my surgery, the hotel is very clean and the bed was comfortable. The access to coffee, toast and bananas for breakfast is a brilliant extra! Thank you so much to the staff for making my post-surgery stay so comfortable and stress free.

Everything was fantastic.

Really hard to give a proper critic as was there for one short night with very early departure. The women who checked me were lovely and helpful with recommendations. Room was fine and clean so no complaints there. Bathroom was funky but worked for the brief stay. Quiet location. The old man I refer to below was lurking around but doing nothing but acting the boss.

I give the staff a thumbs down. The women on arrival were lovely and if I can make a suggestion if you stay there and you need a taxi to airport arrange it with the women. The older man who took over later and was there for my very early departure was useless and basically rude and arrogant. Spoke no english but sure to understand taxi and he refused to call one for me. so along with that and having to find one (Grab was not available) it made for more than a little stressful morning. This guy was the only person in 2 months in any hotel or Homestay that I would criticize. He did nothing to enhance or create a good experience. And I am a pretty forgiving critic.

We only stayed for one night due to our morning ferry from the pier. The staff was incredibly friendly, greeting us with welcome drinks. It's an affordable stay with clean rooms and accommodating staff. The location is ideal – just a 7-minute walk from the shuttle bus's last stop from the airport. Additionally, there's a nearby 7/11 supermarket, and it's only a 5-minute walk from the night market.

Bed was very comfortable! Staff were friendly and helpful. Laundry machines on site. Very clean and modern facilities. Free bananas and toast for breakfast. Nice balcony. Swan towels for valentine's day!

We chose this hotel based on a review that mentioned Netflix on the TVs, but upon arrival discovered that ours was the only room without Netflix! Just a small thing. We had an amazing stay.

The location was very important for our 1 night stay and it exceeded my expectations. Fantastic night market not to be missed just a few minutes walk away. The travel agency Phantip with all important connections is a very short walk. The hotel was quiet, the room was spacious and clean with a gigantic TV. The staff were lovely and helpful. We appreciated the bananas, toast and coffee for breakfast.

Kind of a last minute booking, we arrived quite late and even if staff seemed a bit lost and didn't speak much English, they were very kind. We got a nice and clean bedroom with Tv and Netflix. Bathroom was very clean as well. Very nice surprise to see a little breakfast in the morning, simple things like toast jam banana and coffee, but really appreciated. Wifi worked perfectly. Quiet hotel.

The staff was really friendly! They know exactly what hospitality is. The room is very big and clean and we even had a balcony. Bathroom also really clean, with hot shower. Lot of facilities. Wifi in the room is strong. Location is good. We came with the Seatran boat from the islands. When you buy a boot + bus ticket to the centre, they will drop you a few minutes from this hotel. The next day we had to go to the airport and this bus stop is also just a few minutes away from the hotel. 7 eleven around the corner. We had a perfect stay!

Really clean and tidy, nice balcony and had a coin laundromat across road which was convenient and a 711 in walking distance. The lady at reception was very helpful and friendly she even offered a room on the bottom level seem my partner had a sore ankle. They also have a few snacks and drinks at reception. Good value for money, would book again. Thank you

Main centre is about 15 minute walk, still pretty close though.

Comfy room with tv, fridge and balcony to sit, smoke or dry clothes on. Washing machines on site too. Free coffee and toast in the morning. Nice seating areas. Booked in our travel to Koh Phangan really easy. Good price of drinks from the fridge by reception. Staff members were very kind and helpful.

School kids come over and sit on the communal seating areas. This was a bit strange.
