We stayed at the Centara Ubon for the second weekend in a row. We were given a free upgrade and the room was amazing. Spacious and extremely clean room. The hotel is brand new. The pool is great and the gym is okay. The staff are great in all areas of the hotel. We had the evening dinner buffet and there was a huge selection of fresh foods on offer - I would rate the buffet a sure 10 out of 10. We also managed breakfast the next morning and this was also really good. We will definitely stay again in the near future!

We really loved our stay at Centara Ubon, to the point that it is now one of our favourite hotels in Thailand. We stayed twice in a week, with a trip to Laos in between. The hotel happily, and without charge, looked after our suitcases, so we could just take smaller bags for our trip over the border to visit the waterfalls in Pakse Laos. The staff were absolutely lovely and friendly the whole time we were there, always smiling and always helpful. The hotel itself is well designed and very clean. Food and breakfast was also really good. The hotel is also a 5 minute walk to Central Plaza. Fantastic hotel and would highly recommend a stay here if you are in Ubon Ratchathani.

We found nothing to not like.

The hotel is new and in great condition. The rooms are very well appointed. The hotel is right next to Central Ubon which is a great shopping mall with many restaurants, a food court, etc.

Apart from the proximity of Central mall, the hotel is not particularly well placed. There is very little else nearby, other than a main road. However, the hotel can arrange a taxi to take you into the more interesting old part of town. There was a loud karaoke party going on when I arrived in the evening. It is not the quietest hotel. It is also big and so has less of a personal touch compared to some hotels. Overall, however I enjoyed my stay.

The best hotel in Ubon Ratchathani. Very clean and new hotel. Modern design. Beautiful swimming pool. The staff are very polite, nice and friendly. Family friendly hotel, provide beautiful crib and bedding for baby. Can request high chair for baby to use. Very comfortable to stay. The food tasted good in the restaurant. Location is good, few minutes walk to Central Plaza.

The variety of food not enough for the breakfast buffet. If the lift and hallway can install air conditioning, it will be perfect.

The location next to Central Plaza was perfect for us. The bedroom was spacious and well designed for comfort and practicality. The 24-hour gym was a welcome bonus, as I used it at 2 am, since I was still functioning on European time.

I would like to have had a cheaper option than the all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet. The blueberry cheesecake I ate was small, dry, tasteless and over-priced, which put me off trying anything else in the restaurant. We mostly ate outside the hotel.

The room was big enough with all the modern amenities. The beds very comfortable, the staff were amazing, polite and always welcoming. Location is right next to Cenral Plaza mall so everything close by.

F & B was overpriced at restaurant and pool bar. (cocktails at 500 baht?) The sun loungers by the pool were bean bags, you can not lie on your front cos they are bean bags chaiirs.

Pretty much everything. We did not check out the facilities, but everything else was great. Walking distance to a mall. 15 minutes drive to a variety of great restaurants. Place is easy to find and staff is super friendly, very natural. And not expensive at all.

Nothing! If we ever come this would be our first choice.

Had everything we expected.

Limited parking as close to busy shopping centre. Pool not kid friendly, with slippery tiles and risk of falling from edge of pool aprox 1.5m to feature rocks, floating ring able to be blown over the side of the pool with someone on it.

Good location. Staff are friendly. Comfortable to stay.

The housekeeping service can be improved. Sometimes the staff did not sweep the floor properly which some rubbish still left on the floor. Or they has forgotten to refill the mini bar.

Centara Ubon is a delightful addition to the hotel scene. The spacious rooms offer ample comfort, especially the generously sized bathrooms with excellent showers. The cleanliness throughout the establishment was commendable, ensuring a pleasant stay.

It’s located a little too far from the city centre, but it was okay for one night.
