The Night Club Scene in the UK
Updated August 2, 2023The night club scene in the United Kingdom is wide and varied; there is literally something for everyone. Whether looking for a themed club, or a specific type of music, in just about every major city, there is a night club for you. This is by no means a comprehensive list just five honorable mentions for some of the most popular or in a few cases, the most interesting.
- The Jam House is the perfect night spot for a music lover visiting Birmingham. Just a short drive from the birmingham airport parking, it is home to live music, great food and occasionally special events. It’s one of the few dance clubs where fine dining is also part of their repertoire.
- The Chapel Nightclub in Salisbury is another unique nightclub that has a variety of options from The Chapel with its Urban music, to the courtyard with music from the 80s to 00’s, and finally The Vestry with live music and bar, it has something for everyone.
- The Oceana Club in Bristol just a brief distance from Bristol airport and bristol airport parking is the perfect place to dance the night away while vacationing near the seaside. It offers a variety of themed nights and the drinks are always phenomenal.
- The Refinery in London is one of the coolest clubs in the country. It’s sister to the Anthologist which is another wicked night club. The Refinery hosts soul nights and also has a cool outdoor area for smokers. It’s definitely a must visit on the night scene list.
- Matter Nightclub in Greenwich is a wicked club with a more modern vibe. It’s a massive club with an amazing sound system which caters to the dance and electro music that it is known for definitely brings a young and hip crowd in every night. The drinks are amazing and the DJs really know how to get a crowd dancing..
And..a bonus club:
- For the retro crowd, Carwash at the Aquarium which is just a short drive from heathrow airport parking is the perfect spot to get down. Carwash is a themed event that has been running for over sixteen years with it’s music from the 70s and 80s mostly Carwash also comes with a strict dress code of 70s or 80s disco style. It’s definitely one to stop by and have fun with.
