The staff were really nice and helpful. The food was nice but very European… no traditional Tongan food on offer. The pool was lovely to hang out by while we waited for our late flight back home. We loved seeing all the vegetables and herbs growing all around the grounds for the restaurant. Our room was nice and clean. We loved the local art work and murals on the walls.

The garden view with balcony room in the description turned out to be a view of the neighbouring house backyard and full of barking and fighting dogs through the night. The aircon unit of the room next door sits on our balcony and whirred loudly off and on all night too. The bed sheet didn’t fit the mattress properly and bunched up. The gift shop was not stocked well… it would’ve been cool to see more local jewellery, artwork and prints of the work we saw around the hotel. To have them unframed and ready to travel in a tube to avoid crushing would’ve also been awesome.

From the beginning to end the whole experience was awesome. From checking in, greeted with a smile then you go to your room. Its small but enough for you to stay in. The aircon ddnt work the day we checked in and had called staff to check it out a man come in checked it out and all was well. If ever we needed anything the staff always helped us and was so nice and friendly. We had dinner there that night food was so on point! Filled us right up portions are so good. Kids loved swimming in the pool and you can watch them while having something to eat. Breakfast was complimentary so that was soo good and freshly made. I would definitely stay there again absolutely loved it.

the pool and the room were delightful. Spacious room and small fridge which came in handy for the duty free we had brought with us, a few hours were spent each day in the room due to the high humidity. Bathroom was big enough with complimentary beauty products and shops only two blocks away. There is an ATM by reception and breakfast was lovely and plentiful (eggs cooked to order, cereals, cooked items and a local dish always on offer). The staff were great and so friendly. The perfect place to do nothing but read by the pool and relax.

Room service could have been a bit better but we were on holiday and on Tonga Time! Anything you wanted could be easily provided, but expectations may need to be altered.

CLEAN AND THE FOOD FOR BREAKFAST WAS GOOD. GOOD STAFF BUT AT THE RECEPTION STAFF NEED TO BE MORE WELCOMES THE CUSTOMER. DROP EVERYTHING THEY DO AND FOCUS ON CUSTOMER WHEN THEY ARRIVED. THERE ARE SOME COCKROACHES RUNNING AROUND IN THE ROOM BUT THEY SMALL ONES AND ITS NOT VERY NICE TO SEE

The staff were very friendly and helpful. We loved that they had their own vegetable gardens so the salads were very fresh as picked just before meal times.

A big gap between dirty towels being collected and clean ones returned- twice we had to order new towels after a few hours. But if that's our worst complaint, great place to stay - definitely the nicest hotel we saw in Tonga.

We loved the location by the sea and a short walk from the CBD. We liked the open layout of the public spaces allowing fresh air to circulate, the pool, the breakfast and the friendly staff. ….we were known by name !!!Cleanliness was important..Staff were always cleaning and keeping everything tidy.

A wider variety of meals would have been appreciated during the length of our stay.

Shower lead came off but was fixed the following day. We were on level 2 far away from lift. It would have been good to be on the bottom floor. Customer service could be improved for some (breakfast).

The STAFFS with Fiona and team from the front desk, breakfast, room service, Bou and the team at the pool and bar, maintenance, and security. Truly felt the Tongan warmth with them. The ambiance and the fact that their landscaping are veggies and fruits for hotel use is the perfect touch. Location was accessible to everything in town, neighboring villages, and ferries to outer islands.

That we have to leave!

The staff were very helpful, friendly and attentive to everything. The daily buffet breakfast was fantastic and a great way to start the day! I loved how close the property is to the waterfront, just at the door. The rooms were tidy and had air conditioning, which is a must during the summer months!

A suggestion would be for housekeeping. We would have liked to have more towels and toilet paper in the bathroom as we managed to run out of both each day!
