It was my first ever trip to Ankara and this hotel was a great choice! Mostly we liked the staff - super nice and friendly guys at the reception, very caring cleaning lady at the floor and good people at the spa. We also liked breakfast, it had a big variety and was pretty healthy. Spa is calm and their working hours are great. Was going there every day. Although the pool is pretty short, I was able to make 3-4 km swims due to the fact there was no one else. The rooms were clean

The only cons is that no one knows what time the piano plays at the hall and although we were passing by like every hour (since we really like music) - we’re unable to catch the time of play. First they say that it’ll be later, then - that it’s finished

Excellent hotel, very good and convenient location, friendly and efficient staff (especially at the reception - I forgot to ask the name of the manager, but would like to thank her for providing information and helping me with the luggage storage).

My stay was too short to enjoy the swimming pool, which was absolutely fantastic. I should come again and stay longer. Also due to delay of my flight and missing connecting flight, I came at 4.00 am in the morning, instead of previous evening, at 20.00 pm. However, I was very grateful that my room was kept for me and I was expected.

Location is near by main train station within 1km, Lots of shops and restaurants around hotel, main square is also within 20 min walk or by taxi 5 minutes, Hotel is an old property but well maintained, Room size was small but has balcony and window, although my room was having side street view which was not so useful for balcony, hotel has spa facility on ground floor although I have not used but offered services is in reasonable price, bar is added advantage on ground flour Bedding was comfortable and sheets were clean good option on pillow selection, towel was also good, toiletries provided by hotel was good. Hotel staff are welcoming and helpful, all the staff was good but specially front desk receptionist Sibel, she is fluent in English and makes us feel welcomed in hotel, staff like her an assets for hotel

Shower has standard half glass wall which is uncomfortable, water pressure in shower is not good. Corridor carpet is old and bit smelling seem it’s getting old Even we switched off our heater but room temperature was high, we end up sleeping with window open.

Breakfast was becoming more expensive, so was not opted as part. In the rooms it was rather hot, as heating was still on, but the weather was very sunny and warm.

Good staff, exceptional breakfast buffet. In the room AC, towels, a balcony... The internet was generally good and I was able to work online, but sometimes choppy.

50TL to use the hammam downstairs. Location good but not many good restaurants or cafés like in Kızılay, Tunalı or Hamamönü.

The facilities are all good and there is a spa/sauna; everything works. The bed was especially comfortable. It is a nice traditional hotel - and the best thing is the brilliant live pianist each evening - he adds very much to the character of the hotel and is a good man. Restaurant food and room service are reasonable value and efficient. You will also be very warm in winter with the heating! There is also a barber’s on site.

It is in a most convenient location for the railway station and some tourist attractions, restaurants and so on. The problem is the noise from both the road (can’t be much done about that) and the nightclubs which chuck out from around 3-5am each day. Also as other comments have mentioned, the water fluctuates between hot and cold.

This hotel was a nice surprise. The rooms were spacious and affordable. The food is ok. Staff is friendly and helpful and the valet service is a dream in a city like Ankara where there is no parking, ever. Loved the hamman with a good sauna and Turkish bath. Friendly and good massage therapists. Great service. The look and feel of the place is nice in Turkish style.

Don't count on views of the Ataturk monument as advertised, though it didn't bother us. (well worth a visit btw) Steam bath was not working. They forgot to inform the restaurant that our breakfast was included which caused some annoying back and forth. You are in the middle of the city near clubs so try and get an upper floor room. Coffee at breakfast is bad but there is a Costa coffee at reception.

I really liked this hotel. I liked the old fashioned decor although it is a little dark. The room was lovely and spacious with a balcony, the bed very comfortable, everything worked in the bathroom ...strong hot shower with lots of toiletries. All the staff was very welcoming, helpful and friendly; from the reception staff to the bellboy. We didn't have breakfast there so I cannot comment on the food. Unfortunately I didn't have time to use the spa facilities but they also looked clean and nice. Location was close to metro and train station. I will stay there again if I ever visit Ankara.

I really liked this hotel as it offered a good quality accommodation. My room had a balcony with a view of Anitkabir, the Atatürk's mausoleum. The room had everything one could need, the bed was very comfortable and the selection of pillows more than excellent. The hotel has a decent spa with free pool, sauna and fitness room for the hotel guests, hamam and massages can be booked for a reasonable fee. The hotel provided rich breakfast and the breakfast staff was very attentive. I was also very satisfied with the reception and porter service, and was able to extend my check-out time by three hours without any extra fee or problems. All in all, a very pleasant experience, and also very close to the railway station where I had to take my train on my way out of Ankara.

The fitness room is in dire need of upgrade and expansion, it's the only place in hotel that was below my expectations. With very little investment this could be made to match the rest of the facilities.
