The location was perfect! It was so good being able to use the “private” beach and facilities of the sister hotel a few minutes walk down the road! Having a taxi rank outside the hotel makes it so easy to be able to get a taxi and explore the area! All the staff are lovely and give you great recommendations for places to eat and drink at! The rooms and bathrooms are a little small but that didn’t bother us too much as we really were only in the room to shower and sleep and weren’t spending our days in there! Breakfast was great, large variety of options! All in all we loved our stay and had a great time :)

The hotel is centrally located in Bodrum, it is a 10 minute walk to the likes of Bodrum Castle and the Old Bus Station. It is located right across from the beach and in a quiet area of town. The hotel was lovely and clean, and the rooms were quite big for Turkish standards. The bed was very comfortable also. Breakfast was nice with plenty of options to chose from. The local restaurants serve great food and hospitality also. But for me what made the experience 10/10 was the staff. Can the manager was fantastic throughout my stay. He was very pleasant and helpful, and spoke fluent English !! He was very knowledgeable about things to do locally and even dropped me off on his scooter to the bus station for my bus to the airport ! Overall I would definitely stay in the Akkan Hotel again, and look forward to returning again soon.

Everything at Akkan Luxury is superb, especially the helpfull and active team of the hotel namely Can and all the others. The location is ultra convenient for tourists adjuscent to the beach, pubs, market, restos, St. PETER Castle, Marina...view from our room to sea and castle is magnificant...

We were a honeymooning couple who had booked a different hotel first, but we canceled it to book a room at Akkan and it was a crucial decision that saved our Bodrum trip! We loved our stay at Akkan for several reasons. Firstly, we had booked a budget room, which was upgraded for free even before our arrival - because Çan from the front desk is an absolute sweetheart! The hotel had a nice relaxed atmosphere and a nice common area where you can interact with other guests. It's easy to access on a budget, if you just take a Havash bus from the airport, it'll drop you at a 10-minute walk from the hotel. THE BIGGEST advantage of staying here is the location! Everything you need in Bodrum is a short walk: the Grand Bazar and even the Bodrum Castle are like 10 minutes away from the hotel. It is right there near the beach and anything you need, be it drinks, food, desserts or clothes - you can grab by just stepping out and walking a few steps in any direction. The location allowed us to make several quick stops to our room - if you go for a dip in the sea, you'll be back in your room within 5 minutes to shower and change and then head out again to shop, return again to drop your bags, and then head out again for food or whatever. It was a level of accessibility we haven't experienced before. The rooms were clean, and all of your requests were met with immediate attention. It's nothing fancy, but the value for money is extremely high. If you're going to be spending most of your time exploring Bodrum and need a place to sleep, you absolutely cannot go wrong with Akkan. The breakfast was decent. Nothing fancy, but good enough for you to power up before heading out. PS If you want to book an excursion like a Hammam experience, the people at the front desk would help you out. Just pay them and they'll arrange for it.

It would be unfair to hate on any aspect of such a good budget-friendly deal, but the bathrooms were very small. Maybe if we had booked a bigger room, it would have been different, but we were only staying for 3 nights, so nothing was a deal-breaker for us.

The customer care was top notch, with a special mention to the most helpful Can, not only did he reach out over Whatsapp prior to our stay, but he did everything he could to help arrange our onward travel, and offer assistance, with superb english which is far from the norm in Turkey. The location of the Akkan is excellent being right on the seafront and in the pedestrian area, one of the best areas of beach is right in front of the hotel. The best seafront restaurants are just to the left of the hotel. The breakfast was plentiful with lots of variety, and the seating area is very pleasant with indoor and outdoor choices. The room was modern and clean and the hotel is kept very clean and comfortable with helpful and friendly staff.

Be aware there are 3 Akkan hotels in Bodrum, and people will invariably send you too the wrong one if asked. Wifi was a little stretched in our room and would occasionally drop out.

Room was clean Anything we needed was not too much trouble for the staff When we departed the ferry there were no taxis available for anyone and we were not very close to the town centre We were most fortunate the young man working that night offered to ride his motor bike down and pick our bags up and take them to our room This was extremely nice of him and helped us greatly We really appreciated him going out of his way to solve our problem I just wish we could remember his name If he does read this - Thankyou

Stayed at the Akkan Luxury Hotel, Bodrum of the Akkan group. Perfect location, right in the centre by the sea. Standard rooms are a bit tiny though clean and comfortable. Better options are the rooms with balcony on the facade side overlooking to the sea (no.104, 204) or the ones on top floor. Breakfast delicious with various choices. Super kind staff, very helpful both at the reception and the breakfast room. I would definitely return and encourage everyone to stay here. Akkan Beach Hotel is nearby, its pool and beach is available for the other Akkan guests as well.
