The pool was very cold 17°C. The breakfast is not for the hotel with five stars. Please note that at check-in you will be charged a deposit of 100 euro, which will be fully returned at check-out if no damage has been caused to the room.

We had a fantastic experience at this hotel! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The real surprise came when we were informed that we had been upgraded to an executive suite. What a wonderful gesture! The suite was stunning, spacious and had a terrace. It’s rare to encounter such genuine hospitality, and we truly appreciated the upgrade, which took our trip to the next level. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect, from the comfy bedding to the thoughtful touches in the room (complimentary fruits). The hotel’s location was also perfect, close to everything we wanted to see and do.

While my overall experience at the hotel was wonderful, I was disappointed to find that the hammam (turkish bath) was mixed-gender. It wasn’t something I was expecting or comfortable with. I had hoped for a more traditional, single-gender experience, especially for such a relaxing and personal space. That said, the rest of the facilities were fantastic, and the staff was incredibly attentive and friendly. I would still recommend this hotel for its exceptional service and overall ambiance, but it’s worth noting for anyone who shares similar preferences about wellness spaces.

The breakfast should be improved in quality.

An excellent breakfast included all kinds of food and lots of choices. The location is very close to many tourist sites worth visiting. An excellent gym that includes a wide variety of equipment is suitable for people who also come to keep traning while on vacation

The hotel restaurant can be improved, part of the menu was missing, in addition we received several times things whose taste was not the best for the food, for example terribly sour orange juice or an unsweetened milkshake. Also, one of the waiters dropped hot sauce on my clothes, in addition to that he dropped the dishes again when he came to take food from us, and we were expecting some kind of compensation but we didn't get anything and we paid for everything as usual

Breakfast was a let down, (especially the eggs, which were never cooked long enough or the omelettes were burned…) every time I came back to my room it smelled like someone who smoked walked in it a few moments I went in. The spa supervisor is not a nice man, double booked our spot and then blamed us for the wrong time. We ordered a taxi and it took an hour and a half to have it come pick us up. Not pleased.

It's in a nice, quiet spot, not in the old town but close to public transport (M1, T1, and tons of buses), so you can easily get around without your car. They had free valet parking, which was great because parking's a bit complicated in the area. The spa was a bonus – sauna, hammam, pool, jacuzzi. The jacuzzi was a bit chilly though. We didn't use the gym, but it looked good. Breakfast had loads of choices, including fresh juice and made-to-order eggs. The room was spacious.

The bathroom could.have been bigger, the door was awkwardly placed – you had to squeeze past the sin and shower to close it! Even for us, and we're average size, it'd be a tight fit for anyone bigger or with mobility issues. Also, as mentioned before, the jacuzzi was lukewarm, around 34 degrees. And it felt a bit old, unlike the rest of the spa area

Great hotel with excellent helpful staff who are ready to help with any question in a short time. Breakfast are not very rich but good enough for any 5* hotels. We had a lot of different turkish desserts every day. Location is not perfect. Hotel is located near metro but it takes too much time to get anywhere. Anyway, it is much better than location of many other hotels. We had a great stay in Istanbul in Dosso Dossi hotel!

Rooms are cozy but old enough. They look like they require some refreshing.

Dosso Dossi Hotel Downtown is a great option for anyone visiting Istanbul. We booked here for 5 nights during the new year, and it was amazing stay. Their staff specifically Ms. Laila & Mr. Abdullah were very welcoming and attentive to our needs and requests. They went the extra mile to ensure we felt at home. The Housekeeping was very diligent; our room was always kept clean. We tried the SPA Services, and it was refreshing - prices are normal. The Hotel location is perfect with Cafes on left and right and it is near the metro station if you need to go in any direction in Istanbul, shopping malls, historic areas.... Breakfast was varied, yet I would recommend they revive the midnight soup ritual ;) We will come again for sure in our next vacation

Everything was great from start with supper friendly staff helping us checking in and working with us with the complication we ran in to regarding booking. their room was big enough to put a crib in their crib was even good enough for a 4 year old. breakfast was great so many varieties, their restaurant was great also. we had a great time there.

Everything, except the points I will mention in the things I didn't like

1- For a 5 star Hotel, I wish it had some paid channels like Netflix, YouTube, etc. 2- The pillows were so soft, I prefer firmer pillows. 3- I wish the water temperature in the shower was more stable. Sometimes was too hot and suddenly got cold. 4- The coffee machine in the breakfast area was so old for a 5 star hotel, hence, the coffee doesn't taste so good. 5- A free shuttle to Taksim at some certain times can be a good idea. 6- The time of the gym and spa was limited, until 10pm. It could be until 12am. 7- The lighting of the room can be more. 8- The quality of toilet papers was not good.
