- the breakfast was the same everyday, and was not healthy and you get lot of types of fromage that don't have any taste, for the drink you can choose between milk and turkish tea and we had to pay 90 lira for the latte. - the room was not soundproof. - the rooms are small than it is shown in the pictures, they gave us in the first day a room of 10m², then they changed it by a room of 15² when we requested it.

The staff, especially Bahadar at reception, were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel itself exceeded my expectations, with clean and tidy standard rooms, although the shower was a bit small. The location in the old town, surrounded by charming old-style neighborhoods, added to the overall experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable stay at a decent price. Plus, the breakfast was absolutely amazin

Although the hotel offers complimentary access to the Turkish Hamam and sauna, the additional cost for a massage is quite high. Considering that comparable massages can be found at half the price, it would be beneficial for the hotel to reevaluate their pricing strategy in the near future

This was our first time in Istanbul, and Mays Royal Hotel made our stay wonderful . All the staff at the hotel looked after us and made our stay memorable, from the moment we checked in to check out. We received exceptional, professional, friendly service from everyone. The location of the hotel is in a very good location where transport is at close reach and the grand bazaar is a short walking distance 25 minute walk. The hotel also has a turkish bath, hammam, sauna and a lounge/restaurant next to the hotel, all was wonderful. We will definitely come back here and a huge thank you to all the staff, including Berra, Kaan, Bahadir, Umer, the bell boy, the cleaners, thank you for all. We hope to see you again soon! My recent stay at Mays Royal in Istanbul was exceptional! The reception staff was incredibly helpful, providing assistance with warmth and efficiency from check-in to check-out. Their attentive service truly made me feel welcome and valued. The restaurant staff also deserves praise for their excellent service. They were attentive to my needs and provided exceptional dining experiences throughout my stay. Additionally, the hotel's location was perfect for exploring the city, with easy access to key attractions and transportation hubs. Overall, Mays Royal offers fantastic service from both reception and restaurant staff, combined with a great location and excellent value for money. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Istanbul.

From the moment I have stepped in till the day of checking-out I've been treated with lovely smiles and very friendly behavior from all the staff. Exceptional thanks to Mr. Bahadir for his fast and positive response whenever I ask for anything. The hotel is at all time clean, the breakfast was typical Turkish cuisine (simit, sujuk gozleme, all types of cheese, salads, jams soup, tea, coffee machine, … etc.). The location is 4 min away from the metro and tram, buses varies depending where you're going (in front of the hotel, away 4 min, away 7 min), area full of restaurants, markets, and 5 min is the main street where you'll find all types of things you want from reputable businesses. Overall, I was very satisfied with every aspect of the stay and if I will visit Istanbul again, definitely Mays Hotel will be on the top of my list.

Nothing, all where excellent, Except I didn't have enough time to explore more.

The room was clean, excellent but som kind small. The view is not amaizing to the near old building. The bathroom is very clean and the shower is great but the shower place is a little bit small and narrow but doesn't matter. The bed is big, clean. Mr. Aron Is very kind and professional and deal like a leader not a boss; he put his hand with his staff in the food lounge. Also, Miss Shouroq is great, she can talk four languages fluently, and she helped me in many things quickly. Many Thanks to Mr. Hamza who always provide his assistance and you can find him everywhere. The location is 10/10; it is near the city center where you can find every thing.

At the food lounge, not always you can find fresh cold water to drink, but the food is fantastic. you can ask for Turkish tea or coffee, in addition to nescafe machine. The air-conditioner is above the wardrobe, so it take alot to colding the room.

Our stay at the Mays Hotel was fantastic! The staff (especially Erol <3) were helpful, kind and recommended the best ways to spend your time in Istambul. Breakfasts were diverse, tasty and regional - a great plus. I had a chance to try hammam ritual and a massage --> a great experience!!! The rooms are cleaned and towels are exchanged every day, the hotel is clean, quiet and the AC works very well. Would stay there again for sure!!!

Poor wifi, breakfast area is separate to main building where it’s difficult to go with a wheelchair. Cafe can easily be made accessible for wheelchair users but it’s not done. Three bed rooms are too small for three people with luggage but value for money

We enjoyed our trip in Istanbul! The hotel was excellent! Nice, clean room, wonderful breakfast convenient parking by the side and above all marvelous behaviour by the hotel staff! Kaan and others were very polite, extremely helpful answering at all our questions and proposing mini tours in the city. We will be back for sure!👏✨
