as a frequent traveler to Istanbul this stay was the most amazing and will be the unforgettable one, a special thanks to Hande Özdemir from guest experience team who did an amazing job to make this unforgettable experience with my 10th anniversary from the moment we booked until we left the hotel, we would like to thank her for all the extra services, care and follow up she provided to delight us. for Istanbul I usually stay in Intercontinental hotel in Taksim, but this has became my new favorite hotel, the location in Atakoy in front of the sea is amazing the quietness and peace in the area is great and the view is fabulous, having the market area nearby right across the street of the hotel is also a huge plus. The food is great and we really enjoyed the breakfast buffet, everything was delicious and perfect. The staff are amazing, a very friendly staff, everyone would like to help with a beautiful smile on their faces. as a manager who worked 15 years in airline and aviation and know about hospitality and tourism standards and as frequent traveler who went to many hotels in different countries to compare I really recommend Sheraton Atakoy Hotel, the service and quality they provide you for the decent prices range you pay for is a great deal, 10/10 experience. it is a temporary small issue that is not controlled by the hotel, but the constructions nearby is a little bit annoying when moving in and out the hotel.

The hotel is modern, nice decoration, big space, we had a nice view from our room. Our rate was without breakfast but we tried it for one day only and it was very good. There is construction around the place (made it a bit hard at the beginning to get to know the direction to arrive to the center or the area) but which will mean that the place will be well connected with the railway service. just walking distance, there are two shopping malls that have many shops, cinema and food courts. Finally, as almost everywhere in Istanbul, there was a lovely kitten (around 3-4 months) at the entrance of the hotel usually at night, l love how they treat him and how the kitten is sleeping peacefully as an owner of the place 🐱 meaning it felt safe. thank you for taking care of the lovely small creatures and for your service.

The room cleaning service needs more attention and improvement. In some days the room was well organized, in other days, it was as none has cleaned it: just made the bed quickly (not even organized the pillows) but the towels in the bathroom were not organized not the room was vacuumed.

Hotel accepted earlier check in and check out. Room was clean, Hotel gave me 15th floor smoking room. I thought it will smell bad, but, ventilation systems works nice, and I did not feel discomfort. Staff was always trying to help. Breakfast good. Very quite.

Lobby restaurant does not service after 1:30 AM. You can't order something, like tea or other drinks. I think hotel should manage it. However, they are happy to service 24 hours to your room. Price of the hotel is little high comparatively to alternative hotels with better mobility location. Hotel is little far from main road, so you must wait 5-30 minutes for taxi in reception, or you must go to main road 5-7 minutes to main road. However, hotel staff always happy to call taxi for you. So, in general these all negative sides are not so significant.

Staff were great, spacious areas

The pool rules on the wall to pool clearly stated that children under 16 to be accompanied by adults (fair enough). However the over zealous pool chap insisted no child under five allowed in the pool at all. I selected the hotel for it's pool and facilities so this way a major disappointment. No smoke detector in room it in hallway (had been removed) ... Safety breach 1416.

Harbor view wasn't so nice as expected. A bit blurry window glasses ruined the probably nice view of sea. Anyway the sea and harbor area was not so nice for this type of hotel. They had to add a balcony for this experience. The shower faucet was with uncertain type of errors causing problem with hot and cold water mixtures. It must be thermostat type faucet for this type of 5-star hotel. Anyway, the stay was a bit cheap than downtown. I could say I got what I have paid

Great location, easy communication with the hotel staf and they were great. All of them were always smiling. My view from the hotel room was amazing and furthermore the bed was very comfortable. Fruits, Food was very fresh delicious, drinks were all beyond great. It will definitely be the first place which I will stay again on my next trip to Istanbul. I had a stay that exceeded my expectations.

There was nothing that l saw as missing in the hotel. l had an incredibly comfortable stay.

The hotel was clean and the breakfast was good. The room was a good size with a great view of the sea. A decent location, around a 10 minutes walk to the centre which has 2 malls, plenty of shops and the train.

The shower was not working properly when we arrived, but this was fixed on the 2nd day. The room was also very hot, and the AC was slow - after a day of leaving the AC on full, the room temperature came down to a more comfortable level. We also had to follow up a few times when asking for things i.e. plug adapter / iron.

Everything. Their outdoor restaurant, pool , café alongside pool, rooms , I mean everything is good

The location is far away from main. Touristic areas of Istanbul. If you have go to go taksim or sultanahmet area then you have to take taxi to go there and it will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Istanbul main airport is like 40 minutes away. Apart from location everything is perfect

everything was perfect apart from the deposit thing that was requested. it does not say anything anywhere about and the fact that they accept credit cards only to grant a deposit. I don’t have one. I had to withdraw money from a debit one, my bank charged me a lot of fee for that. at least you could have added that somewhere not to have an unpleasant surprise.

Everything was perfect starting with check in to checkout. The stuff was so friendly and so professional.

Entrance. Due to some construction reaching the location of the hotel was so difficult. To go to the main street was almost impossible. The shortest way was to go through “Migros” a supermarket.
