Everything around. The building is "getting on in years" but also has a certain English charm. The staff, especially the breakfast staff, has surpassed everything. Super friendly and very attentive. This is how personnel should always approach the job. Even if the job itself is not easy. We know THAT!!!
That at breakfast "only" Continental was offered. It could have been a little more unpacked and without foil. But we helped ourselves and got the "missing" from the local market. There should be a refrigerator in the room. The bathroom door has jammed very badly. This should also be known to the service.

Easy to Check In Reception Manned 24 Hours I climbed the stairs to my second floor room with the offer of help with my Case. I’m not sure if there is a Lift. An older couple were walking gingerly down the Stairs in the morning with their luggage to Checkout so probably no Lift. Clean Room. Comfortable Bed. En-suite had both bath and shower. Kettle with plenty of tea, coffee, milk and biscuits. Iron and board , hairdryer and a fan. The Hotel is on the High Street but because of an opening Internal Window, I wasn’t aware of any noise from the Street. There is a Car Park but I arrived on foot so not sure of the process or if you have to book etc. I didn’t book breakfast but the area looked good and there is a terrace outside with tables and parasols where you can eat and drink. The Sun was shining and it looked really inviting ! I didn’t have a look at the town of Andover as I got to the hotel late and left early to go to a family reunion. I enjoyed my one night there.
Didn’t stay long enough to find any faults.

I needed a groundfloor room for my elderly mother and the hotel provided us with one so it was very good. The room was nice and clean and light, the bed was comfortable. The staff was nice and helpful. The breakfast was marvellous with full british and a wide selection of continental style food. Also with a wide range of jams, fruits and excellent muffins! The location is central, close to everything, however, a bit complicated for parking but the instructions at the website are clear, so it was no problem to find the free car park of the hotel. The building has a traditional style but the rooms are modern and elegant inside.
The kettle had too much scaling inside. Hot water was somewhat limited but it was OK. A wardrobe would have been handy and a fridge for guest use would have been useful (I know it is not general at all in hotels) for the special (more than usual) diet of my Mum. The groundfloor room was a bit noisy over the weekend with partying (loud) youngsters but it was OK.

The hotel is right in the middle of town. There's a large, free car park around the back, and there are lots of places nearby to eat and drink. The room I stayed in was more like a suite. The bedroom had an armchair, bedside tables with lamps, and a TV in it. The 2nd room had a desk and a chair with a well stocked hospitality tray. There was a hanging rail, a fan, ironing board, iron, and plenty of room to store your luggage. The bathroom had a bath, as well as a shower, and lots of large towels were provided. The receptionists were great and supplied me with extra milk and sugar when I asked. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast is a buffet, and you can have as much as you like. There are lots of hot and cold options, including fruit and yoghurt.
Nothing not to like

The hotel is in a central location, which is good for finding everything but difficult for parking. However, the hotel has a very god free car park at the back; it is a bit complex to find the entrance but the information on the website is clear so it was no problem to find the car park. The breakfast is marvellous! A wide selection of full British and continental breakfast, wide range of jam and fruits and excellent muffin. Plus you can have your breakfast in a nice, elegant room. The staff is very helpful and friendly! Two of our rooms were on the first floor. These were huge with seating possibilities and two tables. The third room was in a separate building on the groundfloor which was very helpful for my elderly mother! The room with windows towards High street and this separate groundfloor room were a bit noisy at the weekend with partying youngsters walking and yelling by. Birds were also a bit loud but it was OK! The building is nice traditional style while the rooms are modern with elegant style. Take a look at the photos at reception showing the old town and building:)
One of our rooms had limited amount of hot water maybe because of some reconstruction works. The kettle had some persistent scaling with some colours, not very inviting to boil the water for our tea but after some scouring we could remove it and enjoy the tea. I know it is not usual in hotels but since you've got a very good kitchen maybe there would be space for a fridge for guest use (maybe its permissions could be complicated though). It would be handy for guests who have special (more than usual) catering needs.

Very good service, helpful and friendly staff. Would go again. Good location in town centre, but still quiet at night if you take their offer of rooms at the back.
Good breakfast with very friendly staff, but no variation in menu. Recommend fried / scrambled eggs on different days, different sausages, different fruits on different days. Also didn't provide lactose-free milk for allergy even though asked - very important for guests with allergy. Rooms had no fridge.

sat nav took me straight to rear car park. its right in the center of andover. many eateries close by so didnt matter that they have no restaurant. pizza express at front and w'spoons 3 doors down. lovely greene king pub round the corner . rooms very comfy
breakfast was very limited and beans too dry. rooms do suffer from noise from pidgeons and young persons using snicket at the side.but not too intrusive. just beware - no lift to the rooms,

We were upgraded into a well presented, clean and warm room. The staff were very friendly and there was a substantial breakfast. Surprisingly quiet to, considering it is in the centre of Andover and judging by the breakfast room conversations you obviously have a lot of repeat visitors and I can see why. Ideally located in central Andover suited our needs perfectly.
Honestly, only minor stuff that did not detract from the overall experience. The shower was a little awkward to get in/out of due to difference in heights between floor and bottom of the bath, and it took a long time to drain, Towels were a bit hard.

The staff were lovely and the breakfast was very good, with full english/continental buffet. Unique old building and centrally located. Offer drinks from recpetion and the room came with an iron and board plis a fan! Room was spotless, bathroom was spotless too woth a bath and a shower. Plenty of amenities for my short stay.
The wi fi was awful. Non existent in my room, was told that it was the same all over. Perhaps boosters would be an idea of they aren't installed already and need to tell guests. Apart from that I had a great stay.

Our twin room was very comfortable with hangers, hairdryer, double duvets on the single beds. Beds were very comfortable. Shower was hot and strong, brilliant location, free parking. We felt safe even on the ground floor with the window open due to window locks. The staff could not have been more helpful.
A hand towel in the bathroom would have been useful, the tv didnt connect to the internet to play the radio. There were a lack of plug sockets but its an old building so understandable.
