The Cottage is a nice option to spend a night before the flight from Bristol Airport - about 15-20 min walk from the Cottage. The path from the Airport Tavern bus stop is a bit rough, not all the way pawed, but doable. There are 3 rooms in the Cottage, on the 2nd floor and a commpn room with fridge and food downstairs. Very friendly and helpful host/staff.

Having windows to the street (at least 2 of 3 rooms) makes it very noisy in case of open windows (which is unavoidable for hot summer nights). Also, the noise from neighboring rooms is well followable. There might be a larger fridge for guests to storage their food/wine/beer - the mini-fridge only keeps cold the minimum milk and cheese.

Chosen for location. Near Bristol airport. We had a very early morning flight. Not noisy. Planes go in on other side of airport. But the Cottage is not close enough to walk to the airport. Fortunately our hosts also run an airport car shuttle business from the premises thus it was easy to have shuttle car organised for us early the next morning. Bedroom basic but clean and bed comfortable. The smallest ensuite ever ! But hot water was taking forever - if ever - to come thro for a shower b4 we left - no time to wait thus we put all that on hold til we got to our next destination after our short flight. Somethings can wait ! Hosts friendly and helpful. DIY Basic Breakfast laid out for those that wanted it downstairs.

We arrived into Bristol Airport at 2330 so with a 15 minute walk along an unlit road from the airport, we arrived at The Cottage. It was a very comfortable room, great bed and bedding so we slept very soundly. Didn't use shower facilities therefore unable to comment .....

2 minor complaints; the key to our room (3) was awkward to open when we arrived and we had a bit of a faff with noone to speak to (we did arrive after midnight). Also the toilet seat was way too small for the toilet and the toilet lid didn't sit in the up position when seated (it rested on my back which i didnt like!!)

Easy enough to find, had a parking space which was great. Staff helpful, offered to carry bags. Room was clean and had everything we needed. The bed was so comfortable, Shower was nice and had shower gel in so saved unpacking Milk was available as we needed from downstairs Close to airport Had a great meal out at the Darlington Arms a short drive away..thoroughly recommend. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again

The toilet seat did not fit properly and the lid on the toilet just fell on to your back constantly...there was no way to keep it up. The light right outside the bedroom window was on all night and lit up the room quite alot..however we used towels over the blinds which helped a little. Maybe some black out curtains would help. The bed although very comfortable was a little annoying being up against a wall so was difficult to get out in the night if needed but we were fine.

Absolutely beautiful room, the bed was exceptional, so comfy and the bedding was great quality. Decorated to a high quality with very nice furnishings. The toilet with a sink built in the top was brilliant.

The walls are very thin, so noise from other guests was a nuisance. Thankfully on my stay everyone seemed to have early flights so it went quiet at half 10. I was in room 3, the guests in room 2 left without making a sound. The Welsh women in room 1 were a different story, shouting at 06:45 and making a huge amount of noise. It's a shame because the property is lovely.

Perfect location for a stop over before a flight. Very clean rooms Owners were very friendly and accommodating. We utilised the car parking with drop of and pick up which was a great price and easy We didn't have any but a cereals and toast were available for free which was a nice touch

I hate to put this on here but if you're a light sleeper it will prepare you. The only downside is how thin the walls are! When you have to get up at 4am to catch a flight and rude people are up and down the stairs and slamming doors till 1am it's awful. Then when they finally settled in their room I could hear them talking till 2am. Trying to sleep with a pillow on your head isn't fun when you're in a heat wave!

Room was excellent. Newly decorated. Clean & comfortable, they've made a good use of a small space. Ideal for an overnight stay.

We only saw a guy who told us which room we were in. He was helpful regarding where to eat our evening meal. The breakfast was less impressive, there was nobody about. Lots of choice of cereal but no muesli. Some of the packets were just about empty. Hot drinks aren't offered. Toaster was efficient but only white bread was available. The milk bottle & jars etc could have done with a wipe over as they were really sticky.

The Cottage is located right across the Long Stay Car Park of the airport, which was amazing for us. Moreover, when we arrived, the host was amazing and on time. He greeted us, he told us about the breakfast (unfortunately, we did not have time for breakfast, but it looked very nice!) and about the facilities (e.g. Wi-Fi info). The venue itself is very cozy and a traditional cottage, which me and my fiancé really enjoyed. We had a late check-in (around 9pm-10pm) as well as a very early check-in (3am-4am) and the host did not have a problem with that. Everything went very smooth.

We loved everything. Everything was perfect and we thank our host for the time, support and help!

it was even closer to the airport than expected

some things were really clean, like our room but the shared bathroom lacked some obvious cleanliness. one of the showers wasn’t clean and the bathroom mirror and taps were splattered/sprayed with some toothpaste. the man doing our check in/check out could have been more amiable. He was abrupt and rushed and did not have a smile, made us feel uncomfortable, like we were putting him out. shame as the comms on text were helpful and pleasant.

We were very impressed with the selection of cereals on offer for breakfast and that fact that there was skimmed, semi and whole milk available. Having the option of toast with a choice of toppings too was nice and the use of the microwave, great. Our daughter has skin allergies and we were chuffed to bits to see that you had Simple shower gel in the bathroom, one of the few that she can actually use!

The bunk bed was very wobbly and didn't feel very safe.
