The welcome from karl as we got there. Him showing us around the place and taking us to our room. The place had a feeling of being in a house not a B&B or hotel and the cleanness of the property was 100 percent.New carpet all over the place and very soft too. The bed and pillows have to be one of the best I’ve ever slept on anywhere away from home. The place is also only 15 min to town by cab and 20 min walk to football ground.

I really can’t fault this place, but I know Karl said some people complained that he does not do a cooked breakfast. But if you read what it say it’s a continental breakfast and if you really want a hot breakfast so have the chose of lots of pubs nearby

Great hospitality- very kind host. Accommodated our diary intolerance’s for breakfast and was very easy & available to communicate with from the get go. Rooms are lovely & lush as per photos. Breakfast was continental style but perfect for us! Very quiet neighbourhood & comfortable beds and room. Karl even provided a kitchen for teas & coffees on each floor. Great idea!

Nothing! My only mark down is because we might have struggled to find another great restaurant if we stayed more than 2 nights.

We had an amazing stay, the host Karl helped us with everything we needed and more. The room and all the facilities were perfect, I can only strongly recommend it. We came in Liverpool for a football match on Anfield, and the property is located approximately 30-35 minutes on foot from the stadium. We got very clear instructions on how to arrive at the property, the host reached out to me after the booking, offering all the details needed. It will be my go to place whenever stopping in Liverpool.

We stayed in room 4 after a wedding at Sefton Park. Karl provided us with all the information we needed for arrival which was so handy. What a beautiful house and decorated to a high standard. Our room had all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay.

A really nice clean alternative to our usual stay at a premier inn. Elton john was in town so the normal prices trebled.

Would have liked a cooked breakfast but what we had was a great alternative.

The owner is an amazing person and nothing is too much trouble for him. The guest house is immaculate and you can see he is very passionate about what he does. The continental breakfast was excellent. Great choice of food with lovely coffee and juice. The location was perfect for our requirements.

Couldn’t fault anything at all.

We loved everything. My wife fell in love with the duvet. The room was perfect, so clean and tidy. One of the best rooms we've ever stayed in. Karl was a fantastic host. Slight hiccup with the room key but he went above and beyond to apologise and make amends despite assurance it was just an unfortunate accident. He is the definition of a perfect host.
