Staff were very friendly and helpful. Good location, 2 min walk to the tram line with easy access into the city centre. Great little bar and some games and books to keep you occupied if you were staying in the hotel for some time. Room was very clean and exactly what was pictured. Nice little touch that if you didn't require a room clean and fresh towels you earned a free drink (for each day you did this).. Great way to save on needless laundry. Couldn't have asked for a better value for money.

Only 2 very minor complaints: Parking wasn't free, £5 per 24 hours but we were able to extend our last day (due to some other plans) for free. Although breakfast had a lot of choice, the hot options weren't great (only sausage, scrambled eggs and beans) These were minor points as the overall stay was great. (although having to pay for parking did surprise us - not sure if we missed it on previous descriptions, if so, that's our own fault)

We loved our stay at the Niu Loom!The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood with shopping plaza nearby,a tram station which takes you to the city center in 10-15min.One stop away from Victoria station.The staff is so friendly and understanding,our flight got delayed so we arrived later than expected but they were so kind to check us in after midnight.The hotel itself is modern and cosy,it’s super clean and smells good.Room was spotless and bathroom was excellent!The bed was big and comfy with extra pillows and the softest duvet!Slept like babies!We liked everything it is definitely worth the money!!!If you’re traveling by plane the airport is just 30min away and costs around 30 pounds.Do not hesitate to book with this hotel.

Breakfast was mainly English breakfast,no ham or cheese is served or veggies, the picture on website is a little bit misleading.What we liked is the limitless access to tea and coffee beverages which is available almost all day long.

All the hotel areas & our room were very clean & the staff were friendly… The rooms were comfortable & the towels/bedding were really soft… I liked the option of not having your room cleaned daily. If you opted for this you were given a free drink voucher & a donation to a charity.. The bar/food area was again very clean. All hot drinks were free & the bar had plenty of options. We opted to have breakfast included & I would highly recommend this. The breakfast choices were plentiful both hot/cold available & all of it was delicious.. The metro line is a very short walk away & the services to the city centre & back to the hotel ran often & were easy to use & very good value… I would definitely use this hotel again on our next visit to Manchester.

I would have preferred to have hot drinks available in the room but this is a personal preference. However all hot drinks were free & you could take them up to your room.

The property was new and very modern. It was clean and in good condition, and the rooms are spacious. The hotel also gives you the opportunity of forgoing room cleaning for one night, and the reward for such is a free drinks voucher for the bar. Different from other hotels, where if you ask for no room cleaning, they give you nothing. A nice gesture. Free coffee and tea is also available from the bar and is unlimited

The location of the property is good for public transport links via tram, although shouting could be heard from the distance at night, and the hotel was in the middle of a poorly lit area by what seemed to be an industrial estate. I would not recommend going outside at night as a solo traveller.

The breakfast was excellent and well cooked with friendly and helpful staff, and also excellent wrapped croissants and vegan muffins. The pizzas in the evening were excellent and well priced. The staff were very friendly and efficient and so helpful. Bar was reasonably priced, but no Scotch Whisky was available(only Jamieson Irish Whisky), but still fine and okay. Rooms very very clean with good facilities and comfy bed. Location was in a quiet area, within two tram stops of city centre. From start to finish the reception staff and all other staff were so helpful, friendly and fun. Security in the hotel was excellent, with no access to lifts without using keycard. Parking was also excellent and secure. The decor and facades were excellent. All in all, a very good, well priced hotel.

Everything was excellent, with no improvements necessary - I will definitely be back again. We had arranged to meet friends here on the first evening and they were also impressed with our choice of hotel for them.

Only 1 stop away on the tram from AO arena and easy access to the city centre. The room was lovely and clean, and bedding smelt fresh. The breakfast was self-service, so you can get as much as you want. Also offered gluten-free breads and lactose free milk. Breakfast is served 7-11, so if you are an early raiser or need that extra hour, you can still get something to eat. If you don't want your room serviced on a two night or more stay, you can get a voucher for a free drink, which was very welcome upon return after the concert.

The bed was firmer than I personally like. The seating area for breakfast can get busy at peak times and might struggle for a seat. No kettle in the room for morning cuppa. There are free hot drinks in reception but I like a cuppa when I first wake up so I took my travel kettle.

I highly recommend Niu Loom! Whenever I return to Manchester, I will definitely choose to stay there again. The cleanliness of our room was exceptional, surpassing that of other 3-star hotels. I truly enjoyed the delightful scent of their hair and body gel. The hotel's interior design throughout was quite appealing to me. The breakfast offerings were fresh and delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from. However, I suggest that they consider labeling the food items and providing condiments for a better dining experience. The hotel's location is excellent, just a short 5-6 minute walk to the tram station that takes you to the city center. The staff members were also friendly and accommodating. Without a doubt, I would eagerly return to Niu Loom in the future.

The Nui Room exceeded my expectations considerably. It was great value for money. I stayed one night to watch Manchester City play football. You can walk from the hotel to the stadium (about 2 km's). The rooms were very good and the location is about 1.5km's from the centre of Manchester so an easy walk. Breakfast was good and plentiful. I would definitely stay here again.

The only downside to my stay here was the insistence that no-one can check in before 3pm, even if they have rooms available. This is petty in todays environment. Whilst the WIFI code was provided whilst waiting and free tea and coffee it would have been much preferred to be checked in when the room was ready, not have roughly 30 people waiting around until 3pm on the dot.

The rooms were lovely and clean and the bathrooms were nice and modern. A 5 minute walk from the nearest tram station was great and the hotel was easily accessible via taxi and car too. Staff were very friendly and helpful and loved the free drink voucher in turn for no room clean during your stay.... this was perfect as we were only staying 2 nights so did not need the room cleaned. The breakfast had plenty of options and was high quality and very tasty.

The pillows weren't very comfortable and the duvets were awkward to sleep with. Both pillow cases and duvets could do with a button up or zip up on the end as the inner duvet/pillowcase kept poking out. Parking was charged at £5 per day which was a good price however the website didn't mention a cost for parking so this was unexpected. Also early check in was charged to us at £20 whereas online it states it is £12.50. Also Breakfast could be organised a bit better as the lids for the hot food items were very heavy and hot even with the towel provided. Maybe a vegetarian meat alternative option would be good too.
