Olive is a fabulous hostess, she is very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Great communication skills and kept us well informed on timings of the ferry we arrived on. She very kindly offered to book us a restaurant for our second night which turned out to be a fantastic recommendation. Our room was very comfortable and the breakfast was wonderful, freshly cooked to order! Olive even offered us refreshments to take for our lunch as we were touring Lewis and Harris during the day. Would have no hesitation in recommending this B&B. A great stay, very peaceful and relaxing.

Excellent food, so much choice, and beautifully presented, as was the accommodation through out, location was perfect. My host, Olive went above and beyond to ensure I had the best experience of the amazing Island of Lewis as a lone traveller, she made my stay a holiday to remember.

Olive is such a kind host, she really makes you feel at home away from home. She reached out before we arrived to pre book a dinner location as it would have been hard to do that spontaneously given the busy times, she shared recommendations and provided additional information. She offered a great breakfast to our individual choice, all prepared with love. It was great to chat with her over tea and she would be reachable to help if needed via WhatsApp. Olive also prepared flasks for us and great rolls… we felt very spoiled. The room is nice, light, clean and is done with style and care. We really felt sorry that we had to leave Olive already. The location close enough to the harbor/city center, in short distance to the main roads is also great. The best place we have stayed so far during our trip - felt like meeting an old friend.

No. Three is a lovely place to stay, very comfortable and Olive the owner goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need. The breakfast was cooked freshly and was really nice, also fruit and juice etc. Olive was even able to accommodate my request for a light weight quilt on the bed which was brilliant. we could not fault the accommodation or Olive.

Olive was a very accommodating host and bent over backwards to make sure we had a good time. The day before our stay she sent a text to ask if we would like her to make a dinner reservation, and when we were there she was very helpful. Breakfast was very good with plenty of selection.

I don't think anything could really have been improved. It's a little out of town ( 20 minutes walk - which we knew when booking) but it wasn't a problem for us since we don't mind walking and the weather was nice. Might be a slight issue for some.

The location of the property and how clean and well put together everything was. The bed was comfy and the room has all your needs. Shower in the morning was hot and the towels were soft. breakfast was hot and she catered to our needs. the selection of breakfast choices was great. great tea and coffee as well. this was a brilliant place to stay and would definitely book again.

Olive was such a friendly host. On arrival she made us tea and coffee which was much appreciated. The room was very clean and comfortable. There was a comfy settee, Tv area and lots of useful books and info about the Islands provided. Extra goodies were provided in the room and we had a really good cooked breakfast. Can highly recommend

Olive is the perfect host, welcoming and attentive, but not intrusive. Everything was spotlessly clean, the room is a generous size and very comfortable. Being the only guests, made us feel very safe and we were well looked after.

Nothing about the B&B, just a warning that shops & cafes are closed on Sunday in Lewis/Harris, so you need to plan ahead for meals and make reservations at the few hotel restaurants that are open. Olive offers to help with reservations and also made flasks for us on Sunday and there is a guest fridge for a small amount of food.

Olive was an amazing host we we are grateful that we found her B&B and met her . We spent 2 nights with her and she was able to make dinner reservations for us at a local restaurant before we arrived . The Breakfast was excellent with many choices and the best bowl of fruit salad I have ever had . The room was very comfortable and larger than most you will find in someones home . Olive is a gem and we highly recommend her place .

Everything was perfect

Large room with excellent en-suite and very comfortable bed. Olive did everything to make us welcome and the breakfast was brilliant. It was also just a short walk from the centre of Stornoway and the restaurants
