The scenery at the hot springs and resort is amazing. The tour guides were mostly really nice. The lattes at the cafe in the Activity meet-up spot are GREAT!

Lots of unwritten rules about how to get food and drinks at the restaurant. No bartender on duty before 4 pm (but you just have to guess this because people are coming and going from the bar all day), can't sit down until ALL people are standing at the hostess desk (NOT sitting in the bar), no drinks served before 10 am. At the hot springs/pool - a random supply of the coin lockers don't work. Not really a big deal though people did seem to take my towel half the time when I brought it to the end of the ramp.

The hot springs are the best thing about Chena. Giant hot pond is relaxing and hot enough, although I wish there were more places to sit. Nice lighting at night. Flower beds throughout the resort are beautiful.

Like almost all accomodations I've found in Alaska, Chena suffers from the harsh weather and moisture. Changing rooms need ventilation and better maintenance throughout the day. Rooms are in need of updates and deep cleaning. Iron in the water stains the shower and makes showering and drinking water unpleasant. Steep prices for such basic, rustic rooms. Most disappointing is the onsite trash incinerator which fouled the air and disrupted our morning soak.

We loved the hot springs and the ice museum!!!!

The room was very old and basic. Hardly any outlets to recharge our phones etc. The shower was old and yellow( from the 70s) . We came for the hot springs and ice museum so we didn't really care. Those met and exceeded our expectations. Typically if it says resort in the name I am expecting very nice interior as well. Maybe a fridge in the room, microwave...you know.

Wonderful location! The hot springs, the northern lights, and other activities.

The ice palace was okay, but the guide kept telling us what they used to have there which detracted from the experience. The major issue is the the food reservation system. Putting your name on a list and having to have all parties present and sit for an hour or so really was problematic.

We had a wonderful experience in Chena Hot Springs Resort! The staff was VERY nice, the tours were awesome. Such a nice place that we even didn't want to got visit the town (Fairbanks). The restaurant was excellent and the prices are fair.

The room could be a bigger, but that's ok, no big deal. The restaurant waiting times were very long, but I guess we cant control the flow of people (the staff made their best to accommodate everyone).

Clean rooms. Simple check-in. Beautiful grounds. It was a very unique and interesting setting.

The food at the restaurant was amazing but the wait time to get a table was a little rough.

We made the best use of our short stay. We enjoyed the Ice Museum and Hot Springs. We even enjoyed trying to see the Northern Lights but no luck,

The dinning facility was extremely backed up. We did manage to get a quick bite to eat prior to our tour.
