The hotel was located conveniently to the port - we were there to explore Seward, which was a mix between a fishing town, tourist jumping off spot to explore the fjords, and even a few funky-hip food, art, and coffee spots to enjoy. Also enjoyed the sea life center. Other occupants seemed to be using the hotel for a nice spot to stay the night before their cruise, but it was comfortable and homey even for a longer stay of 4 nights. Room was simple, but warm, and we never got too chilly.

The location of this hotel is fantastic. You can walk everywhere, restaurants, ports, and shops. It was clean. The beds were okay. The pillows could be better. The room had all you needed, plus a coffee maker and plenty of clean towels. It has dark shades if you don't want the extended daylight waking you up. We paid for a room with a view, and we got a nice view of the port with the mountains and the glaciers. So beautiful. We were able to store our luggage the day we checked out. Yes, we would stay again.

Front desk staff went above and beyond in courtesy and informative. Breakfast was good in the restaurant and the location couldn’t have been better. Billy the shuttle guy was very friendly. He was a great first impression. We would stay there again especially since it’s only going to get better with new owners.

Put some hooks in the room for hanging. More countertop space would help. What was called a Queen bed was misleading. Very small Queen!

We stayed there after departing from a cruise. The staff was amazing. They were very friendly and helpful. The room was large and clean. There was a mini fridge and coffeemaker. The bed was comfortable. The location is close to many shops, restaurants, and tour operators. It is also a block away (stop #5) from the free shuttle that runs through town. The shuttle picks up from the cruise port and the train depot. We will stay there again if we return to Seward.

The staff is super friendly and went out of their way to get us a room with an excellent view of the harbor. If you consider the fact that you are in a very remote area, then this is an excellent choice to ride the boats to see the fiords and also take the Alaska railroad. It is also right across the street from some really great restaurants. We enjoyed our friendly stay and would recommend this place to our friends. You just have to keep your expectations geared to the location and you will appreciate that this nice cozy place is there.

Excellent location. Great view of port. Right on Main Street and access to restaurant and bar across rear of hotel. Free city shuttle stop across street. Soft pillows, thought they were down. Comfortable bed. Front desk gave us great information about shuttle. Harbor trail would have been great except for the weather.

Can’t control the weather.

Location was perfect for enjoying the Harbor, downtown seward was in walking distance. The room was large and comfortable, with a separate area for suitcases and bathrooms within the suite. The staff was lovely and very helpful with suggestions for things to do while in town.

These things are not deal breakers by any means... Would be nice to have a microwave in the room. The walls were pretty thin so we could hear the neighbor's TV in the middle of the night, but they had it blaring, which was on them. The room stayed very warm even though the heat was turned off, but they provide a fan so we were comfortable.

Restaurant is very good - not fancy, but tasty food. Cool bar. The check in staff were very helpful and the hotel also has a laundry room available for guests to use. The location was excellent for access throughout Seward and especially the harbour area and the train station. The room was clean.

Size of the room was on the small size especially the bathroom and the main window looked out on to the walkway so I kept the blinds closed all the time for privacy.

Location was great. close to downtown, close to good restaurants and close to our boat tour. Nice rooms, quiet. had asked for queen room, beds were comfortable, but more the double size than queen. one light did not work in the room, but otherwise comfortable. Staff very kind and receptive.
