I thought it was good value. Bill very kindly came to the place where our ParkConnection bus from Anchorage dropped us off. He picked us up in his pickup :-), and drove us to his B&B. The next day, he drove us into Talkeena and met us later in the afternoon for a return to his B&B. The final morning, he again drove us to the pickup site for our bus back to Anchorage. Also, I had asked for a firm mattress and he tried hard to provide that, unlike many hotels/motels that simply ignore the request. Further, I always enjoy meeting people at B&B's and there were other guests there to chat with.

I hadn't realized that, because of his location, a car is really helpful. He was very gracious in providing transportation, but I still felt as if a car would have been really helpful. I'm diabetic and a hot breakfast is helpful. Again, probably my fault in not realizing - or asking. Rule of traveling - never take anything for granted. :-)

The view of Denali was spectacular! What a way to wake up! The deck was very comfortable. And the property seemed to be quiet. The shower was great - hot and really good water pressure.

The MOSQUITOS!!!!!!! We are Alaskans and were prepared but they were ravenous. Perhaps a Mosquito Magnet or two would be a great investment for the property to take the edge off. And the rock in the driveway prevented from drive-thru use.

The place is awesome. Bill the owner is super nice and goes the extra mile to ensure your stay is comfortable. The room was well equipped with the necessary necessities in case you forgot something. Don’t be fooled by the words “Continental Breakfast “. Bill goes the extra mile and provided an excellent spread which included homemade blueberry banana bread.

Nothing… Bill provides an excellent stay for the price

We really liked the location with a great view of Denali and just a short drive into town. We only met Bill but he was a fantastic host. We could have shown up without a single thing planned in Talkeetna and Bill would have packed our stay with great recommendations.

The BnB is located at the top of a very steep gravel drive. While we had a truck which navigated the terrain without a problem, and we saw much smaller cars make it just fine, this may be a concern for some travelers. The shower was also a little small, and would be a tight fit for anyone on the larger side.

The bed was comfortable. The shower was good and had good water pressure. The views were exceptional. Plenty of pots and pans in the kitchen. The coffee at breakfast was great and the quick breakfast was enjoyable.

A light over the sink in the cabin would be be very helpful. Over-hang on the back deck would have been great to allow for sitting outside while it is raining. The blue clock light on the microwave was bright while trying sleep. A suitcase stand would be helpful.

Grace and Bill's B & B provided a clean, comfortable, simple room with an exceptional view of Denali and a wonderful chance to see a moose and her two calves out in the wild. Breakfast consisted of cereal, interesting bread, and fresh fruit. Bill was available to share his local knowledge and helpful answering questions. Their place is on the top of a hill, not far from town, and we had a perfect view of Denali from our bedroom window! We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

The owner was very friendly and prepared a good breakfast. He also was kind enough to give us some tips on going up to Denali National Park. The house was beautiful and very quiet.

The Wi-Fi was fairly slow. The house has a shared bathroom amongst two of the rooms, therefore it didn’t feel like you had much privacy.

the view was awesome! we were in cabin 6. it was beautiful and you can see Denali mountain clearly. also there a female moose in the area. the owner was very nice and knowledgeable about the area and animals.

the mattress was hard as a wood. very uncomfortable. but that is the only thing.

Breakfast was sufficient, some kind of protein would be helpful, even some peanut butter. Bread was great!!! Seeing the moose was a bonus, and what a view!

Our only difficulty was the noise from the family occupying the rest of the house.

The host, Bill, was super nice and engaging. He was knowledgeable about the area and shared where the locals went to go fishing! I checked out 3 of the 4 spots and they were beautiful places. Hoping to return to the exact same room and see Denali next time... Breakfast was awesome with a large selection of cereals, fruit.
