Best Western Valdez Harbor Inn

The hotel is in a wonderful location. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet.

Unfortunately the breakfast was a 2 out of 5. The eggs were mush and cold. The sausage was cold. The dirty plates were not picked up, no butter, no coffee lids, tables were not wiped off. The end.

Everything about the property is good. Easy parking, great breakfast with a large spread of choices. Enjoyed eating here in the morning. Located in the harbor so you can just walk around the area and enjoy the views. Rooms were also spacious and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Only disadvantage is no elevator and long steps to get to the room. With luggage on day 1 it was just a little difficult to carry everything up to the room.

Austin the front desk clerk was awesome! Very helpful. She gave us lots of suggestions on activities and things to do. Great location for visiting and walking to stores and restaurants. Room was clean and comfortable. Restraunt in the hotel is convenient and good food.

hotel is ok . but we extended room , but had to move from spacious room with king size bed with good view, to twin room without view and windows ti parking .

when I asked if we could stay in the same room, the woman was rude and did not decide question. also when electricity was turned off we asked about it , the staff was rude

The breakfast was fantastic! Very filling. The views from the rooms very good. The hotel’s restaurant is delicious, very pricy, but tasty.

Our room had a weird smell. Almost like weed. No AC but they do provide a table side fan which is nice. There’s no elevators but the front desk lady offered to help us. The door to our room slammed shut every time we left the room.

Good location. Clean rooms & great breakfast each morning. The restaurant for lunch / dinner was also great food. The staff was SO nice & very helpful with any questions we had.

It was a good location and the staff was very helpful. It had laundry services that I wished I knew about earlier.

It had a smell to it in the room and hallways. It was very expensive for a Best Western.

Breakfast was amazing!! Reviews were mixed so it was a great surprise. Refrigerator and microwave in the room so we didn’t have to eat out every night. Beds, shower, etc. all good. Easy walk to brewery and town, beautiful views, and drivable to so much skiing! Enough space for 3 with ski gear and places to dry it out at night.

I wish all the staff wore masks instead of just some, but as interactions were friendly and brief it was not a deal breaker for me.

We had the grand suite and loved it. comfortable couch to watch football since we could not find another option. Breakfast had a better spread than most hotels. location was perfect for walking around town. Our best hotel this trip

Check in was good, room was mostly good, breakfast was good.

The horizontal grab bar for the toilet was too short and there wasn’t a vertical one. My husband could not use the toilet. The towel rack was too close to the toilet. You hit your head on it.
