Holiday Inn Canyon De Chelly-Chinle, an IHG Hotel

Location is great for getting to Canyon de Chelley. Nice outdoor pool (cold water!) VERY filling meals (and reasonably priced). Comfortable rooms.

Advise guests that water has got a lot of (dirt/rust/sediment) in it flowing in both sink and tub and not recommended for drinking. This should be made aware during check-in (when I asked they said that yes, that is normal and people should buy water). There should be a water dispenser in the lobby so guests can fill water bottles before going out. My rate included Breakfast. However we were informed (at the restaurant) that beverages were not included....simple coffee/tea should be part of a breakfast plan. Whilst we didn't need one, there are no elevators for guests who are staying on the second floor.

Clean comfortable beds and room. Staff were lovely, made us welcome and accommodating for our wedding anniversary which was really nice. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Loved my perfectly cooked poached eggs on toast. Enjoyed the heated pool and relaxation area after a long day hiking and exploring.

Would have liked more vegetarian options on the dinner menu. More variety and healthier options would be good

This was a very nice stay; I’ve paid much more for much less at other locations. Friendly service, clean and quiet room, the hot sit down breakfast was much better than a regular breakfast buffet. Chinle is a small town and this hotel is a nice comfy oasis I’m glad I chose it here over the Best Western (although we did eat a fun dinner at their Junction restaurant). Oh the gift shop here is cute too!

For such a small town I’d say this place well exceeded my expectations. Zero complaints!!

It was a really good location with the different areas we were looking to visit while we were in the state. The included breakfast was really good as well.

With the increase in electric vehicles I think they need to re-evaluate their 110 outlet that they give for Tesla and other EVs. This property is in prime location to add a destination charger or actually a couple destination chargers oh, that would in my opinion significantly increase the one and desire to stay at your hotel across at least numerous of our friends already that already own electric vehicles. There's no real other hotels in the area like yours and you stand to gain the most exposure out of it. I would highly suggest it.

So close to the Canyon De Chelly-Chinle, so we could get up and go! The rooms were clean and modern. Overall it was a pretty good value. Wish I could have gotten our comp breakfast! The surrounding location was pretty nice to wake up to!

Would have like to have gotten our breakfast, but due to COVID restrictions, no food options were made available when we needed them. It would have been nice to at least get the free coffee! Its hard to hold anyone to a fault when there are no food options in the town though except Denny's.

All of the staff members we met were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet. Beautiful area. Breakfast was included in our reservation. The food could have been hotter, but was tasty and filling. Our kids were young enough for the “kids eat free” option, which was a bonus.

Rooms were comfortable with an excellent view of the natural red sand of the canyon nearby. The location was quiet, and the rooms were comfortable and spacious. The controllable thermostat was adjustable to your own comfort level. On-site restaurant and gift shop.

The lotion dispenser was empty... 😞

Location to the canyon. The cleanliness of the entire hotel.

Nothing - the entire hotel was great. The parking lot has some work being performed but that was not an issue. Likewise the dining room was closed one night but it was because of a function and room service was provided.

Location location location! What a sweet spot right outside Canyon de Chelly. The free breakfast was so big I was able to make two meals out of it. I also loved the courtyard and Native American ruins on the property. The gift shop is good, too.

The restaurant was dreadful. Had a terrible dinner in a very crowded restaurant. The waiter was so involved chatting with the table next to ours, he brought our food cold. but honestly, the food was so bad it didn’t matter that much.
