The Lodge as you would expect is on a remote part of Route 66 in Peach Springs. It is in the tradition of the Hualapai people. We had a lovely stay. It was a perfect location to venture to all parts of the area. It’s about two hours in all directions from the Skywalk, Flagstaff and Grand Canyon South. The staff were lovely and helpful. The restaurant was basic but the food was great. There is a help yourself laundry which is useful after white water rafting. We had a great time here for four days.

Nothing. It was a great stay.

The charging. The room was paid on booking.com. The lodge still hold the credit card and request authorize $50 deposit at check-in. Then when check-out, they requested authorization of the balance of the room rate. It is very confusion by seeing the credit alart and wonder if they arr going to be charged later. Have to monitor the credit card statement to be sure that it is not actually charged. If it is, the credit card holder may not noticed. That is a bad process of the Lodge. On the other hand , booking.com did not given an option on paying at property this time. I may miss it. Otherwise, booking.com should provide this option.

We stayed both nights before and after making our hike down to Supi to visit the falls. The Lodge is kept scrupulously clean, well- lit, has comfortable beds and bedding, mini- fridge, desk, bathroom with bath, good water-pressure, plenty of warm water, towels, large screen TV, cable service, etc. The staff were courteous. When we had difficulty with our TV they sent someone promptly to take care of it. There is a gift shop near the registration desk carrying T- shirts and native-themed items ( no postcards though) and a cafe attached. They offered no vegan or vegetarian options though, so we didn’t eat there. Across the road from the Lodge is a nice small market where we bought snacks and such, and there is a gas station with rates competitive with the nearby towns. In all, we found the experience very pleasant.

The check in is at 3 and seems fairly inflexible. when we arrived on our return from the canyon at 2 I would really have appreciated being able to get right in to take a shower! The front desk did make an effort to get our room ready and we were able to check in about 15 minutes before 3, which was much appreciated. Obviously, there’s a train track that passes just behind the property, and it was often passing through at night when we stayed. It did not disturb our sleep much but if you are a light sleeper take some of the earplugs distributed free at the check-in desk. No vegan-friendly option at the cafe, or we would have tried it.

The rooms were very clean and comfortable and there was a minifridge in the room which was nice since the portions in the restaurant were large so there were leftovers. The food in the restaurant was very tasty.

The check-in process was a little slow. They wouldn't start checking in even 10 minutes before 4 pm and the rooms at that time were not ready. They have a comfortable seating area and the restaurant is right there but we could not get into the first of two rooms until after 5pm and it was a little frustrating after a long drive.

The lodge was very nice. The mountains around made for some nice scenery. I caught a beautiful sunset in the back parking lot. The staff was very friendly, even helped me get misplaced tickets reprinted and delivered them back to our room.

The only drawback was being about 100 yards away from the railroad, HOWEVER the lodge had earplugs(which we didn't even need), but better yet they placed guests on the opposite side of the building to help give a buffer from the noise. We didn't need the earplugs and we all got a good night's sleep. While not an issue for us, it may be for others. I will add that we could not hear the train, only barely the horn as it went through crossings.

Good location about an hour from Hualapai hilltop. Was able to wake up early and drive to the trailhead for Havasupai so we could get an early start backpacking in. The room was simple but clean. I did not hear the train and it did not bother me. Hotel has an attached restaurant that has sandwiches, salads and Fry bread. So we did not have to leave to look for food and the food was pretty good. There is also a gas station and small convenience store across the street.

Nothing major to dislike.

Staff was really nice and rooms were fairly clean. We found some handwarmers and earplugs laying around on the floor probably from previous guests. They gave earplugs at the front desk because of the proximity of the train. Honestly, with ear plugs on, I didn't hear the train at all. I liked that we were on the first floor and they had a restaurant attached to the hotel. We ate there for dinner before our hike to Supai the following day. Everything was smooth and everyone was very nice

everything was great

Perfect location for hike to Havasupai nearby! Restaurant on site was affordable and had a decent range of food. Rooms were well-kept and very clean. Mini store on site. Gas station and market conveniently across the street. Oh and ear plugs were avail at front desk for "...loud trains passing" (read about those in guest reviews) but we actually didn't hear any that disrupted our sleep. Highly recommend this place!

The room was clean, with comfortable beds and nice design with a touch of native motives. The location was perfect for our rafting trip in the Grand Canyon.

The hotel is right by the railroad, and trains are passing by every 10 minutes, at day and night. We could barely sleep because of that noise. The reception staff was not always available. From time to time, the wifi didn't work very well.

very comfortable accommodations. Great location for starting the Havasupai hike. Very clean. Had a pool did not use, but it was nice that it was there.

check in not until 4pm. this location is probably used as a stop over or as a stay before starting Havasupai hike… really no reason for no early check in. literally have to just there until 4pm on the dot. not much to do in the immediate area to pass the time.
